Always enjoy staying at the Crowne Plaza and this stay was no different. We book a deal that includes breakfast, a bottle of prosecco and late check-out that enables us to us the pool before leaving. Also no extra charge for parking this time.

We had a lovely couple of nights here. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable with everything you would need was provided, including upgraded toilettries. All of the staff we came into contact with were very friendly and welcoming, working to a high standard, and very helpful. Our breakfasts on both days were of a high standard and quality

Unfortunately our stay was disappointing! The room itself, 435, was nice but the fridge didn’t work and the air con was poor. The bathroom however wasn’t good. The sink was cracked from one side to the other, the door hinges were very rusty and the enamel bath was badly chipped. I did show photos to reception to prove this. The evening meal was undercooked and had to be returned. At £320 per room for 2 nights this was not good value and we would have expected better. The reception staff were really friendly.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Just a few minutes walk away from the main city centre. It was far enough away there was minimal noise levels. one issue was the temperature of the lobby and bar area, on the hottest weekend of the year to that point it felt the heating was on too. Made it unpleasant to sit and have a drink in the bar/lounge area, so we didn't use that bar as much as we would have done.

We enjoyed our stay and the bedroom was very comfortable. The restaurant food was great, we had lunch and breakfast and enjoyed both meals. Only hiccup we had was with late check out, we had until 2pm but housekeeping knocked on four separate occasions, we told them about the late check out but it kept happening, I had tried to contact reception at 12.20pm but no answer, apparently the late check out wasn’t on the screen but it had been mentioned at check in , we were really annoyed at the unrelaxed extra time in our room

Ideal location, easy walk to main shopping and restaurant/bar areas. All staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, room was clean, comfortable and well equipped and an excellent breakfast. Onsite parking and spa available too.

I really liked this hotel, the room was spacious and it felt very private and quiet which was nice. The reception area is gorgeous and the check in and check outs are really fast. The hotel is only 10/15 minutes away from the centre which is really useful. The only issue was that the bath was quite small, but other than that we had a lovely stay.

Friendly check in staff. Good size room and facilities. Dinner was enjoyed by all. Well-cooked food and well- presented. Breakfast staff were friendly and efficient. Executive lounge was good too. There is a spa with good facilities also.

Probably the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in the rooms are amazing and the restaurant was fab. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people it was spotless clean best 2 nights sleep I’ve had. I would most definitely be returning. Thankyou for a beautiful hotel and rooms.
