A really special location, beautiful surroundings, wonderful staff. I was only sorry that I couldn't stay longer. Will return, next time for leisure.

Just returned from a covid-delayed anniversary break and I have to say I would happily return in future. Hotel is set in the most beautiful of surroundings and from the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Having read some previous disappointing reviews I was very pleasantly surprised by our visit. I got the impression that, like many such venues emerging from being locked down, the hotel was functioning with some relatively new members of staff but everyone was very professional, friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was spacious and the food was wonderfully cooked and we didn't ever feel that we were being either forgotten or rushed. Admittedly, some of the decor in our room was looking a little tired in places but this was being remedied in other areas of the hotel and I have no doubt that, when finished, it will look superb. Would recommend in a heart-beat.

Beautiful place and such incredible staff with great support with any situation. I would fully recommend it to anybody looking for amazing food and just a great experience out in the countryside for a weekend or even a night away.

Absolutely stunning hotel amazing grounds to explore the room was extremely clean and spacious breakfast was an absolute delight great options available staff very attentive customer service was outstanding.

This was our first time at this hotel and loved it, the food was lovely and the staff very smart and helpful. Nice and clean room, had a very good night’s sleep as it was nice and peaceful. All of this in a country house setting with lovely gardens what more could you want and just booked for our next visit.
