What a great DoubleTree! The check-in was efficient, with a very warm and friendly reception. The room was fantastic, but had an issue with the . No problem at all because they sent someone right away and the issue was resolved quickly. The food in the restaurant was very good. The burger was delicious, the fish & chips were cooked to perfection, and the chocolate brownie dessert was outstanding. Very high makes for this Hilton property. If I am ever back in this area I would certainly stay here again

Fantastic stay, staff could not be more helpful. Right from the off, reception staff through to gym staff and restaurant all brilliant. Super comfy bed and great facilities made staying here effortless. Private car park for hotel just remember to register your vehicle

We stayed here for 2 nights for my sons 5th birthday where we were going to visit Alton towers. It was a perfect base. Clean, friendly and attentive staff who went out of their way to wish my son a happy birthday. Pool was great with only downside of not having changing rooms but with our room not too far away we were happy to get dried off at poolside and showered back in our room. Restaurant was nice and staff went out of their way to help us rebook breakfast. Lots of shops and amenities nearby perfect when you have little kids. Great location for Alton towers with scenic drive to park around 40 mins away. All in all a fab time was had by all

Staff super friendly and very clean room/ hotel. Also loved the free warm cookie on arrival. The hotel is spacious and quiet with good Wi-Fi connection so great for work and meetings. The gym is the best hotel gym I have ever been too. They have both a main gym and a studio with so much equipment. Only negative which is probably won’t be a negative for many people is that I found the layout of the hotel abit confusing. The reception is at the back of the hotel so coming in, I found navigating my way quite confusing.

Great location, close to shops, restaurants and fast food outlets. Right beside a Waterworld and indoor mini gold venue. Room was clean and comfortable. Early checkin wasn't available due to half term and it bring busy. Not the hotels fault but we had been travelling since 5am and just wanted to chill. Good breakfast, plenty of choice. Approx 45 mins drive to Alton Towers which was the purpose of our trip Pool changing rooms currently being refurbished so when my husband and kids used the pool they had to change in our room and come up and get showered etc afterwards

Stayed as a family of 4 in a room with 2 queen beds. Spacious and clean. Great selection of food at breakfast. Gym facilities excellent, and spotlessly clean
