Very large comfortable room. Bed very comfortable. I would in particular like to praise the lady who runs the breakfast room. She was so friendly and could not do enough to ensure you had a good experience. The hotel is very lucky to have her

I have just come back from a 2 night stay here with 2 rooms, 1 for me, 1 for my mum, and had a wonderful time. The rooms were clean, comfy and spacious and, yes, they are a little distance from reception, (my room was about a 4 min walk) but that is to be expected when you have a hotel running around the first floor of a football stadium. I spoke to 4 members of the front desk team and 2 of the housekeeping team and every single one of them was friendly and went above and beyond to help us. Top, top credit goes to Joe in housekeeping, who helped take all our bags out to the car and had a permanent and genuine smile on his face the whole time he was helping us. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the Midlands Would not hesitate to stay here again.

In Coventry for an event at the casino next door. Super friendly welcome from Robin when we checked in that set the tone for the whole trip. The staff at check out and in the breakfast room were just as friendly. Hoping to get back down next year and will be booking in at the Doubletree. Super spacious clean room.

am a wheelchair user so have a different perspective on life. This 121 bed modern hotel has ONE yes that's correct one lift for the whole hotel. Queues for the lift were long at times and were learnt to adjust our schedule to avoid the worst of them by why should we have too? The accessible room we were allocated , room 177, was very nice with twin beds and plenty of circulation space. The wet room was OK but the grab rails and seat could have been much better if they had involved a wheelchair user in the design. What was totally useless was the wash hand basin that was so small I could not wash my hands in it. The shelf above it meant that I could not clean my teeth using the basin. So if you don't have to use this room avoid it. The air-conditioning does work but you have to crack it by trial and error as the instructions alongside the control panel are not for that model! All the staff were really helpful, front of house, room staff and Faradays breakfast room staff. We found the breakfast hot and cold buffet to be good . The staff cleared and reset tables quickly. The buffet was replenished reasonable quickly but again it was better to avoid busy times as it was a much nicer experience. The boss Maggie? was really helpful and lead a an excellent team. The Bar was too small when a conference was in full swing and we retired to our room for an evening meal. Other days we eat out as there is plenty of choice nearby.
