Brilliant location, very dog friendly, the food was delicious and amazing portion sizes. Actual room was roomy and clean, bed was big and comfy. The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome ??

The quintessential lakeland getaway, perfect to wake up in and perfect to end the day, excellent food on site, comfortable and colloquial environment with friendly and accommodating staff, very dog friendly for any dog lovers and close to the ferry to Bowness if you want to leave your car parked up and just walk.

Really superb food! Plus super friendly staff that went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Relaxing atmosphere. The downstairs horse stables seating was uniquely delightful.

We stopped here for two nights on our way from the Scottish Highlands to Somt for a break. The hotel is very dog friendly and accommodating. Our room was small, but comfortable and the shower was good. Tea/Coffee facilities in room and these were restocked daily. We ate dinner both nights in the bar and there was a good menu and they were happy to check with the chef on what could be gluten free. Good selection of gin and local ales. On-site parking. Walking distance to Hilltop (National trust) and to the ferry across to Bowness

Gorgeous little Inn. Huge, comfortable beds, delicious meals in the pub (you have to try the lasagne) and the friendliest staff I have ever come across.

Super place for a short break lovely clean rooms food was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful definitely worth a visit, would recommend access via the ferry from bowness £5 well spent the area is really quiet and peaceful good for touring the lakes.
