The hotel itself was lovely from both the outside & inside. Lovely lady checking us in. Room was fab looking out at the water with plenty of space & modern inside. Stocked mini fridge with water and soft drinks all free of charge, nice touch! Breakfast was great with a good selection for hot, cold & ordered food. We parked in the stevenage quarter multi story car park which was a 5 minute walk.. £12 for 24 hours! The hotel is based right next to a wetherspoon and a 5 minute walk to the quayside with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose. We had a fab stay thankyou!

Easy check in. Friendly staff. Room was was very clean and spacious. However , if to stay again I would not stay in this room 104. It was right above bar/restaurant. The music went on till after midnight and spoiled what was a lovely stay.

Booked special offer which said free complimentary room upgrade if available, however the receptionist was oblivious to this ,so although the room was nice we just had a view looking out to the street

Was disappointed with the treatment we recieved on arrival. We were first told that we never booked even though we had a booking reference and a confirmation email. Said that they could only have us for 2 nights rather than the 4 we had booked. Told us to phone MyHotelBreaks to see what they said to do. MyHotelBreak sorted it and the receptionist totally changed her attitude (After still blaming MyHotelBreak) and said that she had found a room for us for 4 nights. The next morning we went down for breakfast, sat down and one of the waitresses had asked us for the room number to check us off the list. Came back and told us we would have to pay for it. We had booked an offer for the hotel which included breakfast in the deal so had to pull up the email to prove it. A lovely woman came over, looked at it and said that was fine and she amended it for the rest of the time we were there. However the breakfast food was mostly cold and not as fresh as expected. There was also a lack on information at the hotel for simple things that any other hotel would have. One of the receptionists were kind enough to give us advice on such things but most of the staff came across as patronising. The only positivies of the hotel are the cleanliness of the room and the restraunt attached by Gino D'Acampo where the food was divine. Unfortunately the faults out weigh the positives. We were also lucky enough to stay here at the same time as the PSG team which took the full hotel over not allowing guests front door access at certian times, which can be frustrating but also understable. Overall a pretty poor excuse for a 4 star hotel.

Lovely overnight stay. Great room on 6th floor with river views. Comfortable bed. Easy check in/ check out and the staff were professional.and friendly. Breakfast was very nice. Will definitely return

The hotel itself was lovely, however the walls in our room were looking a bit grubby. I would recommend a freshen up as it’s white paint which is understandable can get marked easily. Apart from that everything was great :-)

Very enjoyable overnight stay, spotlessly clean modern bedroom with everything you required to make your stay a good one. Hotel in an excellent location, extremely helpful and professional staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will book again for another stay.

Had a great stay in a lovely riverside room (upgrade was part of the deal). Brilliant location and a high standard hotel with excellent staff. The only minor gripes were about the breakfast. A single (and very slow) machine to do coffee and tea meant long queues when there needn't have been. Also frustrating trying to order hot items not on the buffet (poached eggs, veggie sausages) which inevitably means that some of the breakfast is cold.

We had a lovely one night stay in this lovely hotel. We were greeted by Rita who was so friendly. We were given and upgrade for my birthday and also 2 free drinks. The room was amazing, extremely clean and with great views. It was very well equipped with a steamer for clothes too. We had a drink in the bar in the afternoon which was quiet and pleasant. On the evening the atmosphere was great. It was busy but well managed and a lovely vibe! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and wished we could have stayed longer.

Very modern hotel with Gino D’Campo restaurant. Very relaxed atmosphere from arrival. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room a very good size with comfortable bed, sitting area and lovely views out of the floor to ceiling window

Staff are friendly, room was stunning. Nothing is too much trouble. Room was modern and has everything at your fingertips. Great location. Had an amazing nights sleep and have already booked up again. Looking forward to my next stay.would definitely recommend

Very good stay. The staff was welcoming and extremely helpful. I travel a lot and haven't came across such friendly and professional staff. The location was great, the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. AMAZING! I will definitely return.
