Stayed 2 nights (1xDBB+1xB&B) myhotelbreaks deal which included a Superior Room, which was very spacious with a walk in raincan shower, as well as a separate bath. The food was excellent both days. Breakfast is self serve buffet, which can be very busy at times as the hotel has 100+ rooms. Bar and separate Lounge are very comfortable, but prices are steep, a pint costing over £6. There is however an excellent pub, The Thorold , only 10 minutes walk in Marston village. Being just off the A1M The Olde Barn is handy as an enroute stopover, or for a few nights to visit rural Lincolnshire. Grantham is an interesting town to visit less than 10 minutes drive.

Not the best hotel experience! 1) The key card given did not work. Returned to reception to have it reprogrammed. 2) No toiletries in the room, only a soap bar the size of a 50p piece. Had to get a member of staff to stock the shower soap dispenser and other washing products. 3) Swimming pool area limited to 25 people whether you are in the pool,sauna or steam room. 4) Dinner booked at the check in for 19.00. We found out from other guests that their bookings were delayed and had to wait. On enquiring, we found out that the restaurant seats 64 but the hotel had taken bookings in excess of 100. We eventually sat down at 20.15 and were given a menu. The dinner is basically a choice of items to the value of £32. This would be fine if the starter and deserts were not priced so high limiting the choice of mains. We eventually ate at 21.00 and vacated the restaurant at 22.00. 5) The safe in the room, despite following the instructions to the letter several times did not lock. I gave up trying... 6) The Breakfast was adequate but only lukewarm. This was true for both mornings. 7) On return to our room a couple of hours later, the room had not been cleaned and the towels had not been replaced. We had to obtain replacement towels from the housekeeper who had supplied us with the washing products the day before. 8) On returning later in the afternoon we found that the key cards were not working again. Had to go to reception to get them reprogrammed again. In summary, not the best experience, but we were not on our own. The Staff were apologetic throughout, but it was a case of being reactive not proactive. But given that they knew the numbers of residents beforehand It was quite apparent that the amount of staff in the hotel were stretched to the limit. Poor planning.

We had a brilliant stay, staff were polite, welcoming and helpful. The room was appropriate for the occasion and was very comfortable. There was enough supplies in the room such as tea, coffee, shower gel etc and the health spa was lovely and relaxing.

Excellent welcoming atmosphere, great friendly staff and good food. We used the spa in the afternoon, lovely and relaxing environment. We would definitely return for another overnight stay.

We love staying at this hotel. Great breakfast, spa facilities, and evening meal. Parking onsite. Gluten free available, and friendly staff. Will be staying again in July. Our bed this time was enormous.

Nice quiet location plenty of parking with the added spa facility. staff were polite and professional. i feel the price was a little steep for the quality of the rooms. however, they were ok.

We've stayed here quite a few times now. The staff are really helpful and friendly. We always enjoy using the spa facilities.I am always happy to eat there as the staff are great with food intolerances.

Good selection of food for breakfast. Staf was very frinedly especially with my 6yr old son. Food was fresh. Coffee was good. Location close to Fulbeck and PFI kart tracks is really helpful. Facilities in the room is good and the room was spacious.
