This is a really nice hotel, the dinner and breakfast were very nice, people went the extra mile to get things sorted as you would expect them to. Good location, very central to everything. Would stay again.

Had a fantastic weekend, staff were very helpful and friendly, food was very nice and plentiful, hotel was 10mins walk from the old town and harbour, the rooms were clean, we will be coming back to stay more to see and do even in this hard and covid times.

We booked this while journeying back up to Scotland from Cornwall. We did find it quite difficult to find and did seem to go round in circles but it had been a long day and we weren’t familiar with the area. When we arrived they didn’t have confirmation of our booking but they did get it fairly quickly and we were allocated our room. The room was excellent; very clean and with everything that we needed. One slight niggle is that the aircon kept going off and needed to be put on manually. I do like a cold room so this may not be an issue for most. As we didn’t arrive until early evening we had our antipasti, dinner, wine and tails together. We couldn’t fault the food and the restaurant staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast in the morning was equally as enjoyable and the staff recognised us from the previous night. All in all and excellent stay and great value for money and if we’re ever down there again would have no hesitation in staying again.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Location is excellent, only 15 mins walk from plethora of pubs and eateries, and 5 mins walk from temple meads station. The staff were lovely,service very good and the amenities very good (although the fitness centre was a bit warm even first thing ). Couldn’t fault the food at all, excellent quality, taste and portion sizes. My only complaint (and this was dealt with very well by Peter on reception) was that the “deal” I was booked onto was confusing and confused the various staff members. It was a one night escape that could be extended but what was included in the cost differed (first night had tails, wine, sharing platter and. 3 course meal whilst other nights was dinner (up to a credit with 30% of anything spent on food above the £50) bed and breakfast. It managed to confuse at least 3 people but like I said, Peter sorted it when we left. Overall, if we ventured to Bristol again, we would stay at the hotel and use MyHotelBreak to book it

Very friendly staff and a very clean hotel. Great location not far from many historical sites and a short stroll to the river. Bus stop outside the hotel. Train station across the road 3 min walk. Breakfast very good quality and plenty choices and make your own waffle a nice touch. We will be back.

Ideal location from the train station and on a good bus route to see attractions and visit the city. Staff very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Cleanliness of the room was excellent and it was very comfortable

Nice, spacious room. Bed was so comfortable. Very close to Temple Meads station. Accessible bus stop that brings you to city center. Even without housekeeping, they were very generous with hotel supplies and amenities
