Good hotel, staff very good and food good but a little expensive. Stayed in accessible room but shower head in wet room is fixed at standard height so cannot be moved and there was no shower seat / chair making showering impossible for someone unable to stand.

Wonderful hotel, great atmosphere, lovely staff and food- also family games room and mini indoor crazy golf what a great way to spend a rainy afternoon.

it is located quite close to the motorway but not too noisy. restaurant was great. we enjoyed their swimming pool and steam room at Spa area.

Had a live overnight stay here to break my journey north.Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable, very nice pool/spa area.The restaurant has a lovely ambience and dinner and breakfast were both very good. The log first was lit in lobby area making it a very nice area to sit after dinner

Great welcome. Spacious room. Fyre Grill steak was excellent. Service superb. Breakfast was fresh and cooked to order. Didn’t mind booking for dinner and breakfast helped us know we had a table. Wasn’t sure about paying extra to access spa - felt short stay didn’t warrant extra cost. Maybe missed out due to that but not enough to mark down stay. Our go to stopover on way to Scotland.

Visited as part of a work event and tagged on a few days in the Lake District. Loved our stay here. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating. The food was great and the spa facilities were very welcome after a long day climbing the hills nearby (only 20 min drive to Glenridding and from there climbed up to Helvyllen and enjoyed Ullswater lake and Airia Falls). Although the hotel is right next to a busy road, we were not disturbed by road noise. The garden area is well kept and natural. There are lots of places to sit both indoors and out. Had not often visited this area of the Lakes before and will definitely come back and will stay in this lovely hotel- it’s a welcome change from the honey pots of Ambleside and Windermere.
