Clean simple with everything you need. Easy access to the attached pub style restaurant which also delivered room service. Staff were friendly and helpful. The attached hotel offered spa facilities

Lovely , clean room, The bed was lovely and big and very comfortable. The shower and bathroom were more than adequate. I had a special request , which was no problem for the lovely , polite and friendly staff. Breakfast was enjoyable.

Great stay, comfy rooms although our room was very warm. Good powerful shower and plenty of fluffy towels, better than most places. The standard breakfast of cereals toast and fruit juice included in your room price is adequate.

We stayed here on our way to the Southampton Cruise Terminal and were really impressed by the Lodge at Solent. It has a modern quirky decor throughout and is attached to a lovely friendly pub that serves the breakfasts. The rooms are well designed with a large bed, there is plenty of space throughout. The shower is roomy and powerful. The pub next door also sells reasonable priced meals and a great selection of beers (just what you want after a long drive!)

very comfortable accommodation. air con room with a cosy bed. efficient shower. food in the restaurant good staff friendly & helpful. gluten free diet catered for too
