We had a lovely couple of nights here , what beautiful surroundings, lovely view of the lake and woodland. Our room and bathroom was stunning, so many unique features and attention to detail. The staff are all so friendly, well mannered and helpful, we felt so welcome . The restaurant was lovely, food excellent quality and so perfectly cooked. We would love to come back again soon.

Stayed just one night with friends , what a beautiful hotel. Beautiful surroundings, amazing hotel, friendly staff . What a lovely place to stay would recommend to anyone especially couples for a romantic break. Nice food and everything reasonably priced.

Such a friendly, relaxed hotel set in beautiful countryside. We loved the quirky decor in our room, the corridors, bar and restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome and the facilities were such that it was easy to relax. The food at breakfast was excellent with so much choice and our evening meal was of a very high standard. We can highly recommend staying here, and we will certainly return.

Location near the A1 was good as travelling to and from. Hotel lovely. Very quirky. Main house where we stayed was lovely and views spectacular. We had a huge room and bathroom and again quirky decor but nice. Main building we where told was new and nicely decorated. Restaurant was very nice and bar cosy and inviting.

The accommodation was superb and very luxurious. The dining area was lovely and the whole feel of the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was good.
