Very large, clean and well decorated room. Good facilities in the room. Shower lost pressure at one point but otherwise no complaints

Really friendly and very help full, they are in the middle of a massive make over but what has been done already looks really nice, will be a beautiful hotel once done but worth the stay now

Spent the weekend back in my home town to see friends and some family. I was a bit apprehensive about staying somewhere on my own but I’m pleased to say I didn’t need to be AT ALL! The staff were so welcoming and helpful all weekend, recommending the best places to go in town and they even have a 24 hour pizza service which I was very thankful for on my first night after travelling down from Scotland (very tasty). I felt very safe staying there and it’s only about 10 mins walk from town which was great! I will definitely stay again and will be recommending to anyone I know planing to visit Canterbury!

Booked for a weekend away although live fairly local. The refurbishment is still in progress but we were not interrupted and the new look is beautiful, resembling the interiors of some much higher end hotels I've stayed in. Bed was extremely comfy and hotel was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was wonderful- special mention for the very quality options such as delicious Kentish apple juice and proper meat-free options for vegetarians! They had veggie bacon from the brand 'This Isn't' which is a very premium vegetarian brand. Staff were pleasant and the location is great for exploring Canterbury. Definitely recommend.
