Nice hotel. Great location, short walk to city centre. Please add to website that there is a £8.50 a day parking charge in the hotel carpark

Very nice hotel located on the Quay. Room was clean and fresh, breakfast lovely, staff friendly and professional. Only drawback the bathroom could do with upgrade, few marks on walls ( a lock of paint would sort). But overall very pleasant friendly hotel. Beautiful decor in the foyer bar restaurant.

Hotel is nice enough but I had about 6 hours sleep the 2 nights we stayed. Rooms need soundproofing of some sort, heard doors closing all night (until around 4am) and sometimes the whole room shook! Also someone in room near us had tv on ALL night blaring til around 6am So if you are a light sleeper I’d avoid here at all costs

Don’t believe the photos shown, in desperate need of a refurb or maybe just a good clean, carpets need to be cleaned or just a good hoover. No fridge in room. Part of the deal was a free bottle of Prosecco, when this is the case it’s usually in our room on arrival but we got a voucher that we could only redeem at the bar. We had one drink in the bar where the sofas had holes in the arms, we didn’t stay and didn’t redeem the Prosecco. Breakfast was free and thank the lord as I would have been fuming if I had paid. Everything was rock solid or over done. £8.50 for parking I thought was extortionate. Hotel is in an excellent location and really thought the standard would have been higher. Won’t be going back or staying in a Leonardo hotel again.

We where a party of 6 for my pre 65th. Hotel was clean we had dinner with u on 1st night 4th October 2024 very good. Breakfast both mornings where great.

Great location easy to get to coming from East Yorkshire of the A1M , got there early afternoon managed to get parked in front of the hotel ok ( there is a parking fee of £8.50 a day though ) , staff very helpful on reception etc , room was nice one double one single bed sofa to etc clean and tidy , ok over looked back of hotel but that wasn’t a problem not there to stay in room just sleep , breakfast was good couldn’t complain eating area clean and tidy staff went about doing the jobs clearing up etc friendly and efficient, no complaints overall stay was good , would we stay there again definitely, many thanks to all staff Ian and Jayne .

No bottle of Prosecco in room on arrival. When I enquired I was told that ‘envelopes’ had been prepared that morning containing vouchers. Eventually they found one with my name on it. The receptionist was not at all apologetic or friendly and gave no explanation as to why I wasn’t given it on arrival. I was then told by - I assume a manager - that the 10% voucher for food and drink was for one time only. This was not clear when making the booking. There was no Costa Coffee. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel after things were sorted. Receptionist was not at all welcoming at any time it has to be said which is a pity because all other staff were very nice.

Lovely hotel. Staff helpful and friendly. Ideally situated for exploring Newcastle. We did not eat here so cannot comment on the food. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Breakfast could have been better. Hotel staff pleasant and helpful. There was quite a bit of noise out in car park at 10pm at night with lots of kids screaming and running all over the car park.

What a lovely hotel with lovely staff upon arrival I told the receptionist we were here for my partners birthday.she moved us to a room with the river view and gave us a card for 2 free drinks ...lovely 5 min walk to the millennium bridge and that's you into the hussel and bussel of the cafes bars and clubs ...we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and will definitely be going back
