Lovely hotel. Evening meal and afternoon tea were fantastic. Breakfast was barely warm and needed to ask all the time to replenish items. Spa facilities were excellent.

Started the break off with with a lovely afternoon tea. Disappointed with the 4.00 PM check in not 3.00 PM as stated on the myhotelbreak.com booking confirmation which made for a long wait and frustrated customers all sitting around and then all queueing to get booked in! The room was very nice and warm and we had a great view of the gardens and part of the golf course. The food in the restaurant was faultless and the staff very friendly and helpful. All in all great value and very enjoyable.

I would like to say we had a wonderful time when we stayed at the Welcombe Hotel Stratford Upon Avon. The food was great on the dinner on first night, bed breakfast and afternoon tea. All the staff we very friendly in particularly Lewis and Marco made our stay very enjoyable. The hotel was very impressive and very homely. Well Done

Beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings. Arrived slightly early but was unable to check in as the "room.was not ready". All saying that she did come and find us about 30 mins later in the bar/lounge and allowed us to check in. We had an executive room which was huge and very clean and comfortable. We had B&B with dinner included on the 1st night. The food was not great. Started with calamari which was more batter than calamari and then had a fish pie. The option for dessert was pear tart and custard or ice cream. We also ordered soft drinks which had a funny taste, a sort of musty flavour! Service was slow but staff were helpful and pleasant and you could see they were working hard! Again breakfast was not great. Poor quality food and not much of it. Scrambled egg was the only choice of egg and I am not sure if there was actually any egg in it. Very unpleasant. I guess that the lack of choice was possibly due to covid-19 restrictions, however I would find it hard to argue this was the reason for the quality of the food. The provisions for the restrictions were excellent with different entrances and exits into dining room/bar and other public areas such as reception and lobby area. Clear signposting and arrows on floors and sanitising available throughout the hotel.. we booked a package which included afternoon tea but we were contacted the day we booked to say they could not do the afternoon tea. This wasn't a problem and we were offered the same package without the afternoon tea for £86 more which didn't make sense. I asked if we could keep the same package at the same price but to not have the afternoon tea to which the hotel agreed. I did sort of expect some sort of gesture of good will as we'd agreed to not worry about the afternoon tea but there was no acknowledgement of this. The only real criticism was the food and the fact we had upgraded our room to an executive, and our view was of a long flat roof despite being at the back of the hotel which overlooked the beautiful gardens and golf course. I was disappointed by this. In short staff are doing their best with the current situation. Food quality was shocking. Beautiful hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Would stay again but would not eat there not even for breakfast unfortunately. Food really let it down.

This hotel has everything for a nice break. Superb spa, golf course, beautiful location, lovely buildings and grounds and is still close to Stratford on Avon town centre. The restaurant has a lovely view or the grounds and the food is very appetizing. Staff are very friendly

We had a two night DBB at this hotel. The staff were courteous and quickly signed us in at reception. The room was clean and aired, do like to have windows open. Dinner was well presented, again the staff were all very good in the restaurant. The grounds are lovely, for golfers it is delightful with 18 hole course. The spa is well run and attractive pool area. Well recommended

Staff friendly and efficient. facilities were excellent. Breakfast was very good. Room very clean and comfortable. Location was fabulous. We will be returning on a regular basis.

Great service, good sized rooms, excellent food served, with a wide variety available on the menu. Spa facilities were great with friendly staff available to offer help and support.
