Stayed for a night based on It being near the Center Parcs we were going to for the day after. Was great as it was so close for this. We liked the benefit of the place having a pool and some spa facil to use for an hour. The room was nice and had good space with a great bathroom. The only issue was the fact of how hot the room was. There was a fan left in the room so I guess this has been an issue before for someone. We had breakfast in the morning which had a nice selection of continental and cold items and then you were able to order cooked breakfast and toast.

Have been stopping here for a few months now in order to visit a sick family member. The hotel is straight forthwith very good facil. Breakfast is great and staf friendly. Rooms on the front of the hotel can be noisy with traffic noise. The chairs in the restaurant have seen better days. The recently refurbished rooms that we have used are well appointed, clean & comfortable. The bar is well stocked and service prompt and polite. All in all good value for money.

We just got back today from an overnight stay and have already booked again. The room was beautiful and clean with everything you could want. A short walk down the corridor and we were at the spa. After a short swim we went in the hot tub and totally destressed. A quick change then a lovely meal in the Normanton inn, the staff were so attentive and helpful. The only disappointment was the breakfast, couldn't fault the staff but the food was less than perfect. The cooked breakfast arrived and there was no sausage, this was quickly rectified but we so wish it hadn't, the sausage was hard and rubbery, we felt compelled to eat it as we had asked. When we stay again we will have breakfast elsewhere. All in all a lovely romantic break, big well done to all the staff.

Booked to stay here for 1 night enroute to collect son from uni. It was set opposite lovely parkland. The hotel seemed to have been recently refurbished and the spa area was lovely. Negatives... our room was right on the main road and had no double glazing, in fact the windows had seen better days. Seemed a shame as the room and bathroom were fully refurbished otherwise. Bed was comfortable but was woken as the walls are very thin. Had a lovely meal and drinks in the restaurant and the staff were really friendly throughout the hotel. Would stay again, but in a courtyard bedroom.

The menu was the same for lunch and dinner in both restaurants, the soup offered during our stay was white onion (clearly the same batch reheated)Our friends had the camembert which was well overpriced and the food apart from breakfast was generally poor. You need to upgrade to get a reasonable bedroom with facilities one would expect from a Spa Hotel. On the positive side, the Spa was good and treatment experienced by me very good, we stayed midweek and the hotel at night was quiet.

Not enough loungers in the spa area to accommodate the amount of people wanting to use the facilities. The double bed base had king sized mattress on top. The rooms are clean but the furniture is a little dated.
