Size of room, location, cleansiness of room all excellent. Spa facilities, pool, sauna, again very Good. Breakfast was excellent, hot fresh food plus continental option. Staff very friendly. All of this combined to give us a much needed relaxing break.

I have stayed here numerous times over the years and I plan to come back many more times! Staff are all so friendly, the spa is small but nice, the treatments are wonderful and the food - breakfast and dinner - is so good! The cookies from reception aren't as plentiful as they were in the past, but to be honest that probably isn't a bad thing!! This is a great base to explore Cheltenham from, but if you just wanted to stay at the hotel/spa and explore the grounds there's probably enough to keep you entertained!

Great location & facilities such as pool, sauna and hot tub. Bar area was great & had a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Hotel was bigger than expected, easy check in/check out. When we arrived the rooms were a little cold but we figured it was due to Covid they had a lot of doors and windows open which was good. Our room was very clean and had good facilities including very quick room service. Front desk was always helpful with booking us taxis and providing information on breakfasts and room service charges. Only downside to the room was the shower pressure.

Perfect for an overnight stay: everything needed for a comfy, easy and convenient stopover. Great that it is dog-friendly - very good dog walking places nearby. All the staff we met were friendly and very helpful.

Very enjoyable 4 night break at the doubletree over new year very comfortable bed tea coffee and biscuits in room very good shower , breakfast tasty and plentiful for all needs continental , cooked etc the spa was exceptionally good great sized pool , all the staff very friendly and helpful, bus stop into the centre a short walk away . Highly recommend this hotel

The room was tired and Windows didn't close properly. The key card had to be reset four times in two days and as we were on the top floor, we had to walk down, as no lifts. Bar prices were worse than central London. But the most disappointing thing was the breakfast. We had uncooked sausage and runny fried eggs, the rest was cold

We booked a two night stay including one three-course evening meal and a sumptuous afternoon tea. I have very challenging dietary requirements and the staff rose to the occasion exceptionally well. Reception took pains to make note o the things I needed to avoid and special dishes were prepared for me, which I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. We were made to feel very welcome and assisted in every way, including advice as to where to park in Cheltenham and the best areas to explore on foot. Our room suited us perfectly; we were advised about the distance from the room to reception and where best to move the car before unpacking luggage in order to reduce this relative inconvenience. The location of the hotel lends itself well to touring the Cotswolds and local villages, such as Slad, which is associated with Laurie Lee, as well as Cheltenham itself.

So it was for an overnight stay, room very comfortable, disappointed in the bathroom as quite small plus the plug didn't fit the bath so I couldn't have a bath which is a shame as the only time I get to use an actual bath is when i go away. Breakfast good. Nice breakfast room as looking over golf course. The corridor is far too long as we were in room 457 the furthest room away. This was great as a lot of parties going on being the Xmas season so had no one walking pass late at night disturbing us. They should have an entrance & exit half way down to the Car Park.
