We had a lovely couple of nights in Ben Lomond lodge, so much that we are already looking at coming back. The lodge was well equipped for what we needed it for, it was clean and modern and in a great location for walks and also only a short drive to the Red Deer Centre.

Visiting with my husband and our 21 year old daughter and 18 year old son, for my 50th birthday celebration. We needed to bring 2 cars, for reasons you won't be interested in, there is only 1 designated parking space for each of these terraced cottages, but plenty of parking in the main square less than a minute away. On arrival, my daughter and husband checked in at the hotel, which they said was very efficient. All of the rooms are stylishly finished, We were advised that one of the rooms would be set up as a twin, which hadn't been done, however one was an emperor sized bed so my children were able build a pillow wall, there was a huge amount of pillows, and they were quite happy. the other bedroom was very small, but had a very comfortable king size bed. Disappointingly, there was no hairdryer, I'm sure if we had asked at the hotel reception they would have provided one, but felt it should have been in the cottage. The bathroom is very bright with a velux window, an excellent shower and a small bath. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would have looked for in a 5* accommodation. There was a toilet in the small vestibule at the back door and a stupidly big pointless mirror, a better use of the wall space would have been coat hooks as there are none elsewhere. The hot tub, which was the main reason for booking this cottage was just superb, the garden is completely fenced/hedged so there was complete privacy. Robes, towels and slippers are provided. On our first night we were unlucky enough to have a group of screeching teenage girls next door, it may have been a hen party, unsure, However the windows offered fairly good soundproofing once we were ensconced inside. On night 2 there was a young mixed group in next door, however our concerns when we saw the crates of buckfast were unfounded as there was very little noise. The accommodation on the whole is quite small, If 4 adults were to spend more than a few days, you might feel as if you were falling over one another. I wouldn't recommend this particular cottage for anyone with children under about 8, as the beds are very high, and the door opens right onto the road. All and all we had a very pleasant 3 night stay and would happily go back and stay there again. My suggestions to the hotel would be, make sure there's a hairdryer, put up some coat hooks and provide a pack of cards.

What a beautiful setting Kenmore is on the edge of Loch Tay. Fabulous accommodation in Ben Lomond a subsidiary cottage to Kenmore Hotel. The hotel it's self needs a refurb but a row of these luxury cottages more than make up for it with their contemporary style. Absolutely nothing to complain about apart from maybe each cottage could do with its own Wifi router as signal strength not great sharing one between 3 cottages. Spotlessly clean and great attention to detail. Ideal for families and near enough to some great sights. Kenmore has its own little shop plus a visitors mini retail centre & of course the hotel is literally 2 mins walk away. Love views of the river Tay from the balcony of the hotel bar - what a great way to unwind whilsching the idyllic views of a loch and river! Totally spoilt.

We stayed in one of the lodges on the river for a recent family gathering. It is an idyllic setting with the river flowing by and the loch and snow-capped hills just across the road. The lodge was updated, immaculate and very well stocked with everything you might need. The bedroom was large but, if you are on the second floor, you need to watch your head at all times due to the gables.
