great stay, lived up to expectations after reading previous reviews. Room perfect, spacious and clean. food and drinks very good value, as was the deal itself. only slight improvement could be during check in. very slow as only one member of staff able to do this and busy in restaurant. No separate check in for residents. otherwise perfect and hope to return.

Staff where all very friendly and food was beautiful. Rooms where clean and comfortable but very small and our window looked in to another room and a wall.

My wife & I spent only the one night in this hotel and there were no issues at all. It was a standard room which was bigger than some of the executive rooms in other hotels with a large on the wall TV with loads of channels, and the bathroom contained a bath with a very powerful shower. The food, both dinner and breakfast was first class. Genourous portions too. Had a few refreshments in bar and found the prices to be good too.

Great hotel, with a very friendly welcome from the staff. All staff we fantastic, food was awesome, from breakfast to dinner. Portion sizes were just right. We stayed in one of the executive rooms which was a fantastic size…room and bathroom were immaculate. We will definitely be back and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Nice couple of days Lovely room dinner was very good up to Rad hotel Stan dard Breakfast was okay but no fruit, yogurt pastries as you would expect Only drawback was reception in the resturant which you had to wait while diners were being seated Staff were very friendly

We stayed here for two nights and had a really lovely time. The hotel is very modern and our room was very spacious and comfortable. Food was very tasty and the staff very helpful and friendly. What's not to like? We have already booked to go back.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms were in the old part of the building and the bathroom was in need of some structural repairs but this didn't detract from a great stay. The newer part of the hotel was lovely as was the food. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient.

Excellent food Exceptionally good happy staff very pleasant stay. Only one complaint could not really turn the shower on fully as too close to the wall but had a bath instead however rooms will getting a modernisation refit soom

We were booked into the Royal Hotel for an overnight Stay as we were atria Wedding Reception.From the moment we arrived the Staff were lovely and very helpful.We had food in the Bar Area.It was served quickly and was lovely.Our room was also lovely.Would definitely recommend this Hotel and we would stay again

Excellent value for money , staff we’re so friendly and helpful especially reception staff . Nice spacious rooms and dinner and breakfast was lovely . The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is very modern.would definitely come back

Was our wedding anniversary night away and not having done much this year we thought we would have a quiet night away. Hotel was lovely and spot on with all covid restrictions in place. Room was nice and clean perfect for a 1 night occasion. Food and drinks service was excellent a special shout out to ‘Garry’ who made sure our needs were met quickly and efficiently. Will defo be back. Thank you

Staff were superb and food and drink were of good quality and value. If you don't know the area it can be very difficult to find the entrance to the car park as it is in a one way zone. Hotel is undergoing a major refurbishment so are only using rooms in one part of the hotel. Website says standard rooms are spacious and inviting which certainly does not describe the very cramped, dark room we had. Bathroom was lovely. All food is served in downstairs bar and needs to come from the kitchen on the first floor. Breakfast was the most limiting we have experienced, orange juice, toast, one type of cereal and a cooked breakfast option. No fruit, yoghurt, cold meat, cheese, pastries etc. Have stayed in several of the hotels in this group so were really looking forward to our stay and were sorely disappointed by the quality of the room.

I received an offer for the hotel which I decided to try. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and well placed the hotel was. The room was large, bed comfortable and bathroom was spacious. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, the staff very courteous and friendly. All in all well worth the price. I would recommend if visiting and touring in the area.

This hotel stay was ok .arrived room was tiny but asked to move and they gave us another which was bigger. Bed was very comfy so that was good. Then the food ,dinner was good but tiny portion of fish you really felt that it was because of dbb deal.breakfast what can I say it was rubbish .There was sad table with a toaster and bread and a few boxes of cereal then ordered cooked which took a while to come and when it came was cold and again small portion and poached egg brick hard. Love a good breakfast and this was far from that.
