We had a lovely time here for 2 nights.The room was lovely,the food was delicious and the staff were fantastic.We would definitely come back here again.

We booked a 2-night stay starting Monday in February. As part of the deal, we got dinner on the first night with breakfast on the 2 mornings. We also had dinner the second night because it was so good. We stayed in the Mews which were spacious, had a sitting room, bedroom, and walk-in wardrobe. Radiators throughout and was adjustable to suit. No complaints about the room whatsoever apart from the mattress being less on the firm side that we like. TV in both bedroom and sitting room, both independent of each other. Staff were pleasant, polite and very sociable. I would like to point out the bar staff were particularly good, friendly, funny and with good memories for repeat orders, but reception and dining room staff were a close joint second. Both Breakfast and Dinner were fantastic both days, not just quality and quantity, but presentation and cooked well. So special thanks to the chefs and kitchen staff that made that happen. They are not always seen but can have an enormous impact on those staying at the hotel. We had a special reason to spend a few nights at your hotel but the whole experience made it more memorable. Thanks again.

Beautiful Hotel in a beautiful setting. Rooms are bright and cheerful. High level of cleanliness. Rooms serviced and replenished every day. Choice of food geat and very good. Breakfast first class. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Had a lovely 2 night break and dinner on the 1st night was lovely and large portions. Staff friendly. We stayed in mews cottage No 19 and it was very comfortable and clean and everything we needed eg tea,coffee and water. This was our 2nd stay and we will return again.

Our party of six had a wonderful time. The refurbishment is silverback and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Food was delicious, rooms very comfortable and the accessible room was ideal. The staff were all very welcoming and pleasant, with a special “shout out” to Billy! Thank you to the housekeeping staff as well for their work. Much appreciated. We were fortunate that the weather was dry enough for us to get out and about, despite it being windy, and the rain came when we were indoors. A thoroughly enjoyable break. I am sure we will be back,

Absolutely delighted with everything. From accommodation service and food was all first class . Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful . Will def be back . It’s a hotel I’ve been meaning to visit for a long time and I’m so glad I did . Usually go for 2 day breaks once a month so I’ve been to quite a few and I would have to say Piersland has came out tops ?? .My score would be 10

We chose The Mews to stay and we were absolutely delighted with this as we needed a walk in shower or wet room. Large lounge with wall TV, large bedroom and another wall TV and toilet with shower and plenty of clean towels etc everyday. Place was very clean and staf very nice. Food was excellent . Would certainly go back.

Great stay very comfortable Mews room! Clean and spacious. Food was very good and breakfast was well served and hot and fresh. None of this self service stuff!! Table service which was excellent! We will be back! All staff very pleasant. Tom and Joan Palmer

Our stay, the food, the staf deserve 5 star awards. Can’t praise the experience enough. We stayed in one of the lodges on a deal which did not detract from the top quality of everything we enjoyed. Meals were wonderful and the staff attended to our every needs. Top 10 score for everything.

This is the second time in less than a year we have stayed here and it never disappoints, I booked this time for my husband’s birthday we had a fantastic few days , we ate in the hotel for lunch and evening meal both days as it was so good.

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Piersland House in Troon , great suite in a beautiful hotel and most comfortable.Food was great throughout however the highlight for us were the wonderful staff , bar and waiting staff were happy and friendly and nothing was a bother , reception staff were great explained everything including the fact there was the first wedding of the year the weekend we stayed . Stayed for the weekend with friends. We had a lodge room which was gorgeous. Staff were very friendly & helpful, nothing was a bother to them. We had dinner on the first night which was absolutely delicous. The hot full breakfast was lovely and piping hot. I would say the melon & cheese on the continental option was a bit dry looking. We had a fantastic weekend and will definitely return again soon.

Had a wonderful 2 day break. Room was spacious,dined in both nights and the food was excellent. All of the staff were friendly and professional. Big Billy and euan in the bar were on the ball with their efficiency and friendliness. Would wholeheartedly recommend to all Only negative is the drink is on the pricey side.

Lovely old hotel. We stayed in the Winston Churchill room which was on the small side but perfectly adequate for a couple. Lovely clean bathroom with great drench shower. Our first evening dinner was included in the offer but it was so good we decided to use the restaurant again for the second night. Food was great and service was good considering how busy it was on both nights. Breakfast was great with a good choice of cooked breakfast and buffet style continental breakfast. Only downside for us was there was a fire alarm at 3.00am on our second night and although everyone seemed to have evacuated the building there was only one staff member so it was difficult for him to deal with the Alarm and communicate with guests at the same time. He done a great job however and we have no complaints
