Absolutely fabulous hotel due to the friendliness and accommodating staff. Due to my partners mobility we were allocated a Mews room which was perfect for our needs. The food is of a very high standard and drinks are reasonably priced. We will definitely return.

Excellent stay as always. Room was lovely and food and service was first class. Only minor grip was we were put in the bar for our dinner on the first night with the deal. Felt less special and surrounding by others just having drinks. Although this is part of the stay felt a bit like the those on a non direct booking are treated differently. Second night when we paid separately for dinner we were in the restaurant!

Lovely hotel & great food. Hotel's web site makes clear that booking dinner & breakfast times is essential. This info was not passed on when booking through myhotelbreak which only mentioned phoning to confirm booking. Need to ensure that 3rd party sites give all the necessary information for a hotel.

Have just returned from a 2 night stay at The Piersland. Excellent hotel in beautiful surroundings. Stayed in a superior room in the main hotel which was very tastefully decorated with a good size comfy bed. The food in the main restaurant and at breakfast was excellent. Staff very welcoming and contributed to us having a great weekend break. Will definitely return

This is quite possibly the best hotel we have stayed in, really comfortable and plan to return in the future. We stayed in a Mews cottage and bearing in mind how cold the weather was were pleasantly surprised how warm and cosy it was on arrival, ( sadly not true of many Hotels in the winter) . Lovely atmosphere with real fires in the bar and dining room as well, many thanks to the staff who helped to make our stay enjoyable. The food and service was excellent, thanks to all concerned.

My partner and I spent 2 nights in the hotel and had a very enjoyable time. We stayed in a “Mews” room which was beautiful and spacious. The food at the hotel was lovely too so would highly recommend. My only negative was no USB connection as my partner didn’t bring his plug but luckily I brought mine. Maybe a small fridge might be something to consider?

We had a great stay at The Piersland House. 4 star hotel with 5 strvice. We stayed in a mews room in the courtyard and it was perfect. Complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate', Horlicks, biscuits and bottled water included. The food in the restaurant was amazing as was the service, the staff were smartly dressed and couldn't do enough for us, Billy was great we really enjoyed his humour. Breakfast was good, I cant praise the staff here enough. Thoroughly enjoyed our break and will definitely be back.

Stayed in a mews cottage which was very comfortable and clean. Perfect for a 2 night stay and our friends were in the cottage next door. We were able to meet for a chat in the living area prior to dinner. Service excellent, staff efficient and friendly. Special mention to Margaret ( breakfast) and Billy( dinner). Thoroughly enjoyed our break at the Piersland and we will be back.

We booked a 2-night stay starting Monday in February. As part of the deal, we got dinner on the first night with breakfast on the 2 mornings. We also had dinner the second night because it was so good. We stayed in the Mews which were spacious, had a sitting room, bedroom, and walk-in wardrobe. Radiators throughout and was adjustable to suit. No complaints about the room whatsoever apart from the mattress being less on the firm side that we like. TV in both bedroom and sitting room, both independent of each other. Staff were pleasant, polite and very sociable. I would like to point out the bar staff were particularly good, friendly, funny and with good memories for repeat orders, but reception and dining room staff were a close joint second. Both Breakfast and Dinner were fantastic both days, not just quality and quantity, but presentation and cooked well. So special thanks to the chefs and kitchen staff that made that happen. They are not always seen but can have an enormous impact on those staying at the hotel. We had a special reason to spend a few nights at your hotel but the whole experience made it more memorable. Thanks again.

Had a lovely 2 night break and dinner on the 1st night was lovely and large portions. Staff friendly. We stayed in mews cottage No 19 and it was very comfortable and clean and everything we needed eg tea,coffee and water. This was our 2nd stay and we will return again.

Our party of six had a wonderful time. The refurbishment is silverback and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Food was delicious, rooms very comfortable and the accessible room was ideal. The staff were all very welcoming and pleasant, with a special “shout out” to Billy! Thank you to the housekeeping staff as well for their work. Much appreciated. We were fortunate that the weather was dry enough for us to get out and about, despite it being windy, and the rain came when we were indoors. A thoroughly enjoyable break. Absolutely delighted with everything. From accommodation service and food was all first class . Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful . Will def be back . It’s a hotel I’ve been meaning to visit for a long time and I’m so glad I did . Usually go for 2 day breaks once a month so I’ve been to quite a few and I would have to say Piersland has came out tops ?? .My score would be 10

We chose The Mews to stay and we were absolutely delighted with this as we needed a walk in shower or wet room. Large lounge with wall TV, large bedroom and another wall TV and toilet with shower and plenty of clean towels etc everyday. Place was very clean and staf very nice. Food was excellent . Would certainly go back.
