Booked this trip as an anniversary trip with my wife and we couldn’t wait. Arrived early and they managed to get us a room which was very much welcomed by my wife and I. Unfortunately on check in they stated that the MyHotelBreak voucher we used hadn’t been deducted from the cost and we had to pay the full amount. Eventually they agreed that we could pay the amount stated on my booking email and we went up to our room. The room itself was nice and spacious. We noticed that the floor next to the bathroom was wet but dismissed it as it might have been the previous occupants. The next morning we had a wonderful breakfast but in the room we noticed that the floor had gotten worse. As we headed out for the day we reported it to the reception and they said they would try have a look. On our return they suggested we moved rooms as there was now a damp smell in the room. As it was now our anniversary we requested an upgrade for moving room etc. That was very quickly rejected and we got moved to a smaller room. Not very happy!! Upon checking out our bill had increased by £107 to our amazement, someone had had dinner and placed it on our room and we had also been billed for our free breakfasts!! Refused to pay and let them dispute it out with each other and MyHotelBreak, overall the ruined our break but the breakfasts tasted lovely.

Food was lovely, rooms were clean, staff were welcoming. Very ideal place to stay in the centre of London. However, it was a little busy on my arrival nevertheless the staff handled it well. Would recommend.

Had a brilliant stay at the Malmaison, would definitely recommend. There are a number of tube stations near by the hotel which make it easy to travel around London. There are also a number of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Good customer service at reception, clean and well furbished rooms. Shower very effective and the wifi worked well.

The bed was comfortable. The bath was good.The tea and coffee facilities were good and variable.The staff were lovely.

Very friendly staff. There were great surrounding restaurants including the one inside.
