Stay here! It is so wonderful and warm. Beautiful historic property close to everything and anything you could want to visit or see. The staff is the nicest we have ever experienced in all our travels. The rooms are so charming and the food is excellent but we haven’t had bad food anywhere in Edinburgh yet. It seems everything here is fresh and delicious. There are great Resturants and bars down the street, the royal mile is about a 6 minutes walk and the castle 10. We stayed in a room called bodega named after a wine(they all are). Our room had a king bed a beautiful huge bathtub and the best rainfall shower we have been in. Everything was top notch and after walking through many hotels here I have to say we will be back to hotel du vin and will stay here anytime we visit!

So well located near the old town Quite hotel Such a warm welcome ( Luckaz is soooo Nice thank you again ) .. Really Nice rooms ... peaceful and relaxing Great breakfast Great barmaid I ll be back for sure soon Thank you hotel du vin

This was our first trip away with our 3 month old baby and the hotel was perfect. The staff were so lovely and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Especially Lukasz on reception and Ashleigh at the bar with her great wine and whisky knowledge & suggestions. Our room was big, with a travel cot and a lovely big bathroom with freestanding bath and walk in shower. The hotel was the perfect mix of luxury for us adults and practicality for the baby. We could wheel the pram straight from the street up to our room with no stairs. The location was also great...walking distance from attractions/things to do. The food was great! Good burgers and we enjoyed the lovely hotel breakfast. It was like a home from home! Thank you

The staff were EXCELLENT !!!! lovely accommodating and obliging . Beautiful hotel and room with a free standing bath . They also added a beautiful bouquet of flowers and bubbles and chocolates at a request for my friends birthday for only £39 . Nothing too much trouble

The service from the staff was excellent, especially the bar staff who really know their drinks. Really comfortable feel.
