We received a lovely, warm, and friendly welcome upon our arrival. Although we had a long walk down two corridors to reach our room, the carpet made it quiet underfoot, ensuring that we did not disturb others. The room was spotless! It was small and compact but extremely clean, with everything we could possibly need: bathroom toiletries, a hairdryer, an iron, an ironing board, a fully stocked drinks tray, towels, and a pillow menu. A chilled bottle of Prosecco awaited us. The only minor issue was that the TV screen welcomed us with another guest's name, but that was no real concern. Included in our package was a two-course evening meal in the restaurant, which was tasty, well-presented, and very fresh. For dessert, we chose a crumble that needed to be baked, and we were informed it would take 20 minutes. This was not a problem at all. We felt very relaxed while seated in the air-conditioned restaurant, and the dessert was definitely worth the wait! We slept very well, thanks to the air conditioning, which helped despite the heat. However, we were disturbed in the early hours by a few noisy and disrespectful guests talking loudly as they returned to their rooms. There were options to display various door notes for housekeeping, depending on your requirements. Greenchoices also an option. Breakfast was delightful as well, offering a good selection of cereals, yogurt, fruit, and a hot cooked breakfast. It was self-serve, allowing us to visit the food stations as many times as we wished. The food was hot and freshly prepared. You had an option to sit outside if you wished to. On our second night, we visited the hotel restaurant again (the meal was not included this time) and enjoyed both a lasagna and a ravioli dish. During both nights of our stay, we had to inform the waiting staff whether our meals were to be paid for. Each time, the staff member efficiently went to reception to verify this and add drinks to our bill, handling the process smoothly. We intended to use the pool, but when we went to look, it was full of families and seemed quite hectic. As a result, we decided it wouldn’t offer the relaxing swim we were hoping for. It appeared that both the gym and pool were also being utilized by outsiders over both weekend mornings.which might have explained the business of both areas. I found the place very inviting, but we didn't go there in the end. The checkout process was easy, and we felt we had the relaxing weekend away we were hoping for. Staff should be commended for their professional and friendly service which enhances this hotel experience. We did not bring our dog on this trip, but we noticed that pets were allowed at the hotel. Rooms could display a 'pet in room' notice for the cleaning staff. However, dogs were not permitted in the restaurant. We saw a few families walking their pets in the surrounding parking area and grounds. Would we return? Yes. Would we recommend myhotelbreak? Yes! Very good value and a wonderful break.

This hotel as you enter looks clean and smells nice, the room was equally as clean although a bit small was comfy. We had an evening meal which was good and the breakfasts had good choices and nicely cooked. overall this hotel is very good and we will be back.

We stayed in a double room which was clean and spacious. Amenities are decent, we had spa treatments, Dru was fantastic as she listened to what I wanted and was attentive to how much pressure I wanted. We had dinner included in our package. A decent range of food on the menu and service was good.

A lovely hotel where you can see it has been refurbished. Clean and pleasant with a nice sized gym and spa facilities. Plus points - 3 minutes drive from a larger Sainsbury's, 15 minutes drive to Gloucester Quays and centre of Gloucester. Laura on reception and Julie in the restaurant were excellent, very professional and helpful. Not so great - long wait time for evening meals every night. The dinner inclusive menu didn't change so different options for food at dinner because boring/Limited

Second visit was just as enjoyable .I would suggest that instead of a free meal on the first night an allowance is given so that choices can be made from the full menu .Bit of a shock when we were charged for parking which we were not charged for two months ago .

Hotel was clean and modern and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast on both mornings. The only downside is the location- there is nothing in walking distance as the hotel is on what seems like a business park. So there are no bars shops or restaurants nearby. It was further into Gloucester city centre than anticipated so taxis were quite expensive.

Enjoyable stay at a nice clean and tidy hotel. Staff were attentive and efficient. Extra signage could have avoided a false fire alarm, caused by bathroom door being left open while showering

This break was very good value, room was fine but a little dark as there was no light in the middle of the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was OK. But bland . I would recommend the food if you weren't on a deal.

Nice room in smart hotel. No lift here, so make sure you book a ground floor room if you're likely to have difficulty with stairs. We didn't use the pool or gymnasium.
