Directions to the Malmaison Manchester Deansgate

Malmaison Deansgate is located on Princess Street, beside Albert Square in the centre of Manchester and is only a short walk away from Bridgewater Hall, the Palace Theatre and Manchester Central Exhibition and Conference Centre. The hotel is within walking distance of Manchester Oxford Road (0.5 miles) and Manchester Piccadilly (0.7 miles) and is easily accessible from all corners of the country, Manchester Airport and Local and National rail links, making it the perfect base for your visit to Manchester.


Head South on M6. Keep left at the fork to continue on M61, follow signs for Manchester/Bolton/M62/Leeds/M65/Blackburn. At junction 2, exit onto E Lancashire Rd/A580 towards Salford/M’cr City Centre.

Merge onto E Lancashire Rd/A580, continue onto Broad St/A6. Turn right to stay on Broad St/A6. Turn right onto Ring Rd./Trinity, continue straight onto Irwell St/A34. Turn left onto Gartside St. Turn right onto Bridge St/A34. Turn left onto Cross St/A6042. Turn right onto Tib Ln, Tib Ln turns right and becomes Clarence St. The hotel entrance will be on the left.


At junction 19, take the A556 exit to M’cr(S&C)/Airport/M56 – keep right and continue on A556 for 5 miles. Merge onto M56. Keep right at the fork to stay on M56. Continue onto Princess Pkwy/S5103, keep right to stay on Princess Pkwy/A5103 and continue straight onto Princess Rd/A5103.

Keep left and continue on Medlock St Jct/A5103, keep right to stay on Medlock St Jct/A5103 – continue to follow A5103. Turn left onto Charlotte St, and continue onto Spring Gardens. Slight left onto Chancery Ln, turn right onto Clarence St. The hotel entrance will be on the left.


The Metrolink network runs across the City Centre and Greater Manchester. The nearest stop to Malmaison Deansgate is St Peter's Square, with services including those to and from Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Victoria and Manchester International Airport. Manchester is serviced by a free Metroshuttle bus which links the main train stations, car parks, shopping areas and hotels around the city centre. Running at least every ten minutes, the nearest stop is outside the Free Trade Hall - just a 4-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is within walking distance of Manchester Oxford Road (0.5 miles) and Manchester Piccadilly (0.7 miles). There are taxi ranks outside both stations – alternatively, StreetCars is a local taxi company that you can reach on 0161 2287878.


Once landed at Manchester Airport there are a few different options – there is a taxi rank just outside the terminal building or you can book a taxi with a local taxi company StreetCars on 0161 228 7878. Manchester Airport is also connected by rail to Piccadilly Station. There is also a metro link straight to St Peter’s Square.

There is no parking on-site at the hotel. The nearest car park is the Q-Park Piazza which is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. There are 6 electric charging points and 2 disabled spaces in the Q-Park. Drive-through height is 1.98m. Q-Park Piazza is a secure underground car park located in the Centre of Manchester Chinatown.
