Andrew Simpson - "The Boss"

Andrew Simpson

The main man who started it all. Andrew founded Classic Scotland Ltd way back in 1996. With many year's experience in the industry he spotted a gap in the market to bring together all the privately owned hotels. The company has since grown year on year to become what it is today. All his hard work in the past means he can now spend more time on the golf course than in the office!

Claire Macnair - Product Manager

Claire Macnair

The whacky woman who looks after all our member hotels and makes sure everything keeps to a high standard, which is not as easy as it sounds! She spends a lot of time on the road visiting our hotels, however she always seems to conveniently arrange this when the weather is nice!

Mark Simpson - Digital Marketing & Development Manager

Our website and online guru who looks after everything online - from marketing to social media and website development. After years of trying to figure out what he wanted to do in life it appears Mark has eventually found his way. 

Beverly Smith - National Account Manager

Beverly Smith

Beverly has been with us since 2007, coming from a completely different sales background Beverly hit the ground running initially in our very successful Travel Trade team - looking after 1000's of group bookings each year. Beverly is known as "the voice of the company" due to her vocal attributes, the office would be a much quieter place without you! Beverly now looks after hotel product with our current hotel members making sure we have the right offers available to book. 

Pauline Black - Travel Trade Manager

Head of our growing Travel Trade Team since 2015, Pauline has always had an interest in Travel & Tourism with her University Degree, making her the academic in the Company. Pauline's constant happy personality has a smoothing effect with her busy department. Pauline likes to travel mainly holidaying in Tenerife each year, but she says she would love to visit the Outer Hebrides again but not in the wintertime!


Pamela Low - Reservations Supervisor

Our old war horse, Pamela has been with the company for longer than we can all remember. She has seen the massive changes throughout the years and has done a bit of everything in her time. Now she works in the web team making sure the website is up to date with all the offers that everyone love so much. Thank you Pamela!

Susan Slaven - Reservations

Susan Slaven

Your second point of contact for Susan is on the front line, dealing with all your queries and bookings over the phone. In the summer months, she helps the Groups department obtaining room lists for hotels and dealing with late requests.  It is often said that she loves her job almost as much as she loves her wee dog, Molly! 

Ainslie Johnstone - Reservations

The welcoming voice of myhotelbreak. The chances are if you phone you will be through to Ainslie. She is in the number 1 hot seat to deal with  the many enquiries and bookings we receive each day. Her customer service is second to none. To prove it she has thank you cards from past guests displayed by her desk. Ainslie has been with Classic and myhotelbreak for over 3 years now having had previous experience in Business Travel. 

Holly Paton - Digital Marketing Executive

Holly is one of the more seasoned digital marketers. Holly is the Queen of our Facebook Group dealing with customer queries and building relationships with our audience. Holly’s other duties involve Facebook Marketing as well as designing our highly successful email campaigns. Holly is also very apt at our Vlogs (along with Mark) which can be viewed on our YouTube channel.

Jonny Livingston - SEO & Content Specialist

Jonny has joined our team coming from a background of working in agencies throughout Glasgow. His main role is making sure all our content on our website is up to a high standard so all the information you see about our hotels and offers is correct. 


Stephanie Hayton - Digital Marketing Executive

Stephanie is the newest member of the team joining the ever-growing marketing department here at Stephanie has an impressive background with an honours degree in International Marketing from GCU while also gaining valued digital marketing experience since graduation. Stephanie’s role is to assist with ongoing campaigns in social media, email marketing and search.

Nathalie Brohan - Inbound Business Manager

Nathalie Brohan

Our very own French Fancy with the ability to speak 5 languages! Nathalie heads our overseas travel trade team making sure people from all over the world come to visit the UK. We all love Nathalie even though we are not quite sure what she is saying half the time! All we know for sure she has a passion for Scotland, which is "tres bien" for us all.

Diana Stuerm - Travel Trade Sales Negotiator

After completing MBA and MTL  Master’s Degrees and working several years in Logistics and IT specialized in EMEA and globetrotting to become a polyglot covering French, Swiss German, Dutch, Spanish and also adventuring in Mandarin and Gaelic fell in love with Scotland during a Holiday and decided to move across the Channel. Joined the team to assist Nathalie for supporting Overseas customers. In her free time she loves to take pictures and when time allows attend dance classes such as Tango, kizomba etc, now she mostly spends time with her puppy discovering Scotland through his eyes and her lens!

Fiona Beaton - Travel Trade Executive

Our bubbly Fiona has become one of the more experienced members of our travel trade team. Dealing with our UK customers in her friendly manner. Another one who enjoys the art of talking, which has proved to be a valuable asset in the sales team. She pretty good a dancing too going by the last team night out!

Stacey Redmond - Sales Support

Stacey has a great knowledge of different departments here at myhotelbreak. Her main role is now assisting with different departments at different times of the year. Including reservations, accounts and groups - where we can make use of the knowledge she has gained during her many roles with us. 

Richard Speirs - Accounts

Richard Speirs

Our number cruncher and computer fixer who has been with the company for over 10 years now. Whether there is a bill to be paid or a computer to be fixed, Richard will always be on hand to help with a smile on his face!

Anne-Marie Speirs - Accounts

Anne Marie Speirs

Another stalwart of the company, Anne-Marie has seen the company change over the years and has tried her hand at everything from rooming lists to reservations. When she is not making coffee for Richard, she is working hard making sure everyone gets paid!
