The Woodland Glencoe Estate is home to a wide range of activities and has been voted number one activity provider in the region.

Embark on a variety of delightful walks right from your luxury lodge. Meander towards the nearby seaside, located just 400 meters to the north, or negotiate the paths and trails bordering the Golf Course, leading you into the woodlands above.

You can also explore the scenic landscape of Glencoe by renting an electric bicycle or joining a Segway tour. Experience the thrill of acquiring new skills through guided archery or laser clay shooting sessions. Alternatively, immerse yourself in one of Scotland's cherished traditions with a game of golf or a classic whisky tasting experience.

Segway tours
Glide through the woods to connect with nature like you never have before. Because people of all ages find it great fun, this is a really good family activity… even for grandparents!

Archery From beginner taster sessions to more in depth sessions for accomplished archers, the estates fully qualified instructors are there to make sure you have lots of fun while picking up some new skills along the way.

Electric bike (e-bike) hire The Sustrans Caledonia Way passes right through the estate, offering miles and miles of stunning, peaceful cycle tracks to explore right from our doorstep. Head off down towards Oban, passing historic Duror, beautiful Appin and easily diverting to Lismore Island. Alternatively, head up behind the estate to explore the trails in the Glenachulish Woodland and to get a great view over the point where Loch Linnhe meets Loch Leven.

The e-bikes help ease the strain when riding uphill, allowing you to relax and enjoy your surroundings. The team will ensure you are properly kitted out and will point you in the right direction, or better still take them with you with the Guided E-Bike Hire.

Laser-Clay Shooting
Fire authentic, 12 gauge shotguns – converted to shoot harmless infrared beams – with no nasty kick-back or big bang! Clays are fired from a launcher and up to four players can shoot at the same time. When a shooter scores a hit, the beam is reflected back to the gun and registers a “HIT” on a big scoreboard. Authentic sound effects enhance the experience. The computerized scoreboard tallies up hits and allows several different forms of competition to take place, catering for all levels of expertise.

From the whisky aficionados to those just discovering Scotland’s amber nectar, the whisky tasting experience is sure to get you up close and personal with the ‘water of life’.
Packaged beautifully and including a selection of our favourite drams from different regions of Scotland, the whisky tasting kit is designed to be savoured in your own time, in your lodge.
If you’d prefer a more personal experience, the in-person guided Whisky Masterclass is definitely the way to go. The resident expert will guide you through the different whiskies as you explore their history and discover complex characteristics of some of Scotland’s finest single malts.
