The newly refurbished Promenade Bistro Bar sits in an idyllic location directly on Barkby beach and boasts the finest of food along with stunning views across the North Wales Coast and hills that overlook Prestatyn.
Our varied menus, including our delicious gluten-free menu, change with the seasons and offer a wide range of meat, fish, poultry, vegetarian, and vegan dishes compiled by our Head Chef Mark Dixon and his talented team using the freshest of local produce.
Food is served from 12.00pm (12.30pm on a Sunday) to 9.00pm daily. Our Sunday Lunch proves to be a big hit with guests and locals alike and is available all-day Sunday.

The Beaches Hotel & Spa has 4 family inter-connecting rooms, made up of one twin and one double room, each with an en-suite bathroom and television, with an internal connecting door.
The hotel also has a large family suite that can comfortably accommodate a family of 5 and a travel cot or roll too. Supplements will apply for this room type.

Directions to Beaches Hotel & Spa in Prestatyn, North Wales
By Car
From the East follow M56 west to the A5117.
Continue westwards on the A5117 to join Welsh Road East (A550) in a south-westerly direction. Take the first slip road up to the roundabout. Take the fourth turn off the roundabout on to A548 and continue straight on this road through other roundabouts and over the large Queens Bridge. Still, on A548 keep going for a further 14 miles till you reach Prestatyn. As the road bends to the right and over a railway bridge, take the first turn right and first sharp left. At the end of this road is the Beaches Hotel & Spa
By Train
Prestatyn has a charming railway station, which is on the main rail route from Crewe to Holyhead. Virgin Trains run daily to London Euston and Arriva Trains Wales operates trains to Chester, Crewe, Manchester, Birmingham, and across North Wales. There are also trains each day to Cardiff and South Wales via Shrewsbury and Hereford.
Hotel Notice Board
The car park is now a pay-and-display car park monitored by a company called Creative Car Park. Guests to the hotel can register their vehicle for FREE parking at reception for the duration of their stay, otherwise, they will incur a £100 fine.
The Beaches Hotel can not take responsibility for any fines issued if the vehicle is not registered at reception.
Upon arrival, please bring your car registration number to reception on check-in, you can then register your car for free parking for the duration of your stay.
Please note that there is a barrier of 2.1 metres high and 3 metres wide, if your vehicle will not fit through, please contact reception who will offer alternative parking.
Parking is free for guests, but guests must provide car registration details to reception to register their car for the duration of their stay.
