Carnoustie is easily reached via excellent roads, direct rail routes, and also by air. The Carnoustie Hotel is 1 hour’s drive from Aberdeen, 1 hour 30 minutes from Edinburgh, 1 hour 45 minutes from Glasgow, and just 20 minutes from Dundee City Airport. The A92 provides excellent access from Aberdeen, Dundee, and Edinburgh, linking with the M90 and the Motorway network at Perth.

Unless stated otherwise on your package, guests staying on a dinner inclusive break will receive an allowance of £25 per person per night allocated in the Bistro. (this is for food only and does not include drinks) If staying for multiple nights and dinner is included on one of the nights of the package it will be allocated to the first night of stay unless stipulated on the booking. As the Bistro gets extremely busy, especially on a Friday and Saturday night, we would recommend phoning the hotel to book your dining time as soon as you can. Water SportsThe Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa is situated adjacent to the 1st tee and on the 18th green of the Carnoustie Golf Links Championship Course.
The Championship 18-hole golf course is recognised as one of the top three courses in the country and hosted the 1999 and 2007 Open.
The Burnside Course also situated onsite, is widely considered to be of great charm and character, with many impressive short holes and the infamous 17th hole, considered one of the hardest par fours in golf.
The Buddon Links is an excellent example of links golf; it is guaranteed to test every golfer’s accuracy and control and is an ideal introduction to links golf prior to tackling the other more demanding courses here at Carnoustie.
