Afternoon tea at The Craiglynne Hotel is a tasty affair. You can eat in both the lounge and sunroom from noon daily on delicate sandwiches and homemade sweet treats made by our chefs. Enjoy in front of the roaring log fires in the winter or in the heat of the sunroom in the spring and summer.

Directions to Craiglynne Hotel in Grantown on Spey
From the south follow the directions to Perth. From there follow the A9 to Inverness. Once you reach Aviemore follow the A95 to Grantown, which is 12 miles. As you enter into Grantown town centre the Craiglynne Hotel is situated on the main road on the left-hand side.
There is free parking at the front and rear of the Craiglynne hotel.

Accessibility
Unfortunately Craiglynne Hotel isn't suitable for a wheelchair user. There is 1 room that a wheelchair can fit into however this room is not close by reception, the restaurant or the public area. The use of a ramp would be required to access the room and the dining area with assistance from the hotel team. The bathroom has a shower over bath and no safety equipment i.e grab rails, emergency cord etc. This room is also only available as a Double Room.
Due to the main public areas being accessible by a few stairs this hotel may not be suitable with those with severe walking difficulties.

Activity - The Cairngorms
These majestic mountains can be viewed from the hotel and they provide a stunning backdrop to Grantown-on-Spey throughout the seasons. The Cairngorm National Park stretches south from Grantown-on-Spey through Highland Perthshire to Blair Atholl and east through the Angus Glens to Ballater in Royal Deeside. The scenery throughout is quite breathtaking with mountains, glens, tranquil towns and unique villages in abundance.
Whisky - The Whisky Trail
Grantown is at the southern end of the Malt Whisky Trail. Follow the A95 out of the town and head north into whisky country. Along this route, you will pass a number of distilleries including Glenlivet, Cardhu and Glenfiddich amongst others. Drop into one of the many whisky distilleries for a tour and a sample of Scotland's national drink.
Attraction - Strathspey Steam Railway
Enjoy a nostalgic day out in the Speyside highlands on a steam train journey from Aviemore to Boat of Garten and on to Broomhill using the original line of the Aviemore-Grantown- Forres line which ceased in the 1960s.
Attraction - Highland Wildlife Park
Located at Kincraig, near Kingussie, the Highland Wildlife Park showcases Scottish wildlife and a varied selection of the world's tundra and mountain-dwelling animals. Among the animals on show are polar bears, bison, wolves and red panda
