Occupying the former factor's home, which dates back to 1750, the Lodge is steeped in history and surrounded by 2,000 acres of lush gardens and beautiful countryside views.
There are hours of entertainment to be had for people of all ages: while children will make a beeline for the expansive nature-based playground and traditional maze, green-fingered guests will be drawn by the siren call of The Queen Elizabeth II Walled Garden.
