There is limited parking available within the grounds of the hotel some of which are bookable at £5.00 per day. Street parking is available outside the hotel grounds.

Nearest Airport
Glasgow International Airport is the nearest airport to Rothesay on the Isle of Bute.

• Option 1
From Glasgow airport, you can either take the bus or the taxi to Paisley Gilmour Street Station which is about 2 miles away. You can then take the train to Wemyss Bay (40 mins). When you arrive in Wemyss Bay, take the ferry to Rothesay (35 mins ride). Upon arriving in Rothesay take a short 10 mins walk or catch a taxi to The Glenburn Hotel.

• Option 2
Take a taxi from Glasgow International Airport Directly to Wemyss Bay (55 mins) and board the ferry to Rothesay (35 min). After alighting, take a walk (10 Mins) or a taxi to The Glenburn Hotel.

• Option 3
From Glasgow, take a train directly from Glasgow Central Station to Wemyss Bay (50 mins) and board the ferry to Rothesay (35 min). After alighting, take a walk (10 Mins) or a taxi to The Glenburn Hotel.

Rothesay can be reached by ferry from the mainland via 2 routes (both services are non-bookable) with Caledonian MacBrayne

There is limited parking available within the grounds of the hotel. There is 4 blue badge spaces at the hotel that are on a first come first served basis.  Street parking available outside the hotel grounds.

Pets
Pets are welcome to stay at the hotel in our standard rooms only, restrictions apply to restaurant/Dining areas.  Daily charge of £15 per pet per night applicable. This will be applied at the hotel direct. 

Children's Rates
