Bedrooms
Retaining the charm and character of the hotel, the guest rooms are bathed in pale yellow decor with traditional furnishings. The Highland Hotel also has several interconnecting rooms. When this room type is for a family, If you are booking on a special offer then the 2nd room is charged at the full offer rates. However, if you book on the Standard Rates then the 2nd room for the children would be charged at 50%. Please call our reservations line for further information should you require it.

Dinner - When staying on a break that includes dinner guest will have a set Table D'Hote menu however the a la carte menu is also available with supplements for each option. The restaurant is very busy, we advise pre booking your dinner time prior to arrival, please contact the hotel direct to do this.
Afternoon Tea's
The hotel requires a minimum of 3 days notice to arrange afternoon tea time. Please contact the hotel directly to book in your time. If you are booking for an on the day arrival, afternoon tea will be given on the following day and not the day of arrival.

STIRLING CASTLE
Stirling Castle is a great symbol of Scottish independence and a source of enduring national pride. The castle’s long, turbulent history is associated with great figures from Scotland’s past, such as William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots.
BRIDGE OF ALLAN
Just over 3 miles from the hotel lies the beautiful historic spa town Bridge of Allan which has been a popular holiday destination since the early Victorian times. The centre has a wide variety of one-off boutique shops, cafes and delicatessens, and there are lots of beautiful public walks around the outskirts.
This is a magnificent 15th-century building, still with its original oak beams intact. It is one of the few medieval parish churches to have survived the Reformation, which was very extreme in Scotland.

The Highland Hotel has the added bonus of its Observatory which is looked after by the Stirling Astronomical Society. A visit to the Observatory can be arranged by the hotel and someone from the Society will be happy to come and give you a short demonstration and talk. Please note this is free of charge however a donation to the Stirling Astronomical Society would be appreciated.
