Links House at Royal Dornoch Hotel offers 15 welcoming luxury bedrooms across 3 buildings. Each room is decorated with the finest antiques; fabrics and artworks are named after a North Highland salmon river. Located in the main manse house are the 5 deluxe rooms each of these is impeccably appointed in the same building as the restaurant and public rooms. The 8 luxury Suites are located in the Georgian-style mews and the late Victorian-styled Glenshiel building. The hotel also boasts 2 of the finest bespoke apartments in the highlands. The Mallart enjoys stunning views over Royal Dornoch and the Dornoch Firth and is located in the penthouse of the Glenshiel building. The Laxford apartment is on the ground floor of the mews and is ideal for couples or young families.

Each room features exclusive Hypno beds, bedmakers to all the royal residences, dressed with the finest Italian 5-point bed linen that will be sure to send the most travelled guests into a restful sleep. Each of the 15 bedrooms is home to an Italian Marble bathroom suite with heated floors, towel rails, a full-pressure power shower and a separate bathtub. Bathroom amenities include plush towels, an endless supply of hot water and Arran Aromatics toiletries.
Each of the luxurious bedrooms is equipped with free wifi, Sky TV including Sky Sports, Period antique furniture, walk-in closet, tea and coffee-making facilities and spectacular views of Royal Dornoch and Dornoch Firth and beyond.

Main House Double
Located on the first floor of the Main House, these are cosy but well-designed and proportioned rooms with some of the original wood features, which adds to the charm of the room. It also features a writing desk and a 5ft Hypnos bed.

Main House Deluxe
Our 2 largest House Rooms, Beauly and Shin are located on the first floor of the original building, all are individually designed with King or Super King Hypnos beds, tasteful antique furniture, armchair, writing desk and chair, and marble vanity units.

Mews Deluxe
We have generously proportioned rooms in the Mews - located just a few feet from the Main House. The Mews features a stunning veranda complete with rocking chairs ideal for relaxing. Rooms are individually styled with 6ft 6” Hypnos beds, separate seating area, antique furniture and ample storage space and can accommodate a roll-away bed. Bathrooms feature large roll-top baths, walk-in power showers, under-floor heating, and double vanity units.

Glenshiel Suite
Our newest building, Glenshiel is located opposite the Main House with easy access. These are our largest suites, Evelix, Halladale, Thurso, Fleet, Naver and are located on the ground and first floors, all can accommodate a roll-away bed. Guests can enjoy a private lounge with a log fire. Each suite features an entrance lobby and is individually styled with a separate seating area, antique furniture and ample storage space. Four of the suites have roll-top baths and walk-in power showers, one suite has a large walk-in shower only. All feature underfloor heating and double vanity units.

Afternoon Tea
Indulge in a slice of the finest of British traditions and enjoy an afternoon tea at the Links House at Royal Dornoch Hotel.
Our menu features a selection of finely cut sandwiches, expertly crafted savouries, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserves, and a mouth-watering range of exquisitely presented pastries and cakes.

As well as several different types of loose-leaf tea to choose from, why not sip a glass of Joseph Perrier Champagne to add some extra sparkle to the occasion?

Afternoon Tea is served from 12.30pm until 3.30pm with the last reservation at 2.30pm Wednesday to Saturday. Advance booking is required.

Afternoon Tea at Links House costs £29.50 per person, or £39.50 per person including a glass of Champagne.
