What can you say, top class Hotel and one of my favourites in the UK…. Staff ever attentive from the moment your walk through the front door until you leave, very friendly and always helpful. The rooms are excellent and feels like home whist there and not just a hotel room. Tea/coffee & bottled water available in the hallway as well as chilled water, a wee dram and home made shortbread also available in the room, perfect.. Breakfast was brilliant as local porridge and full English, all local and well presented.. Can’t wait until our next visit..

This lovely, gracious hotel with elegant accommodations in three stone buildings on a very quiet street does everything right. First-rate service, rooms, décor and cuisine make this hotel in the charming village of Dornoch the nicest we have ever stayed at in Scotland. The exceptionally personable and accommodating staff made us feel like honored guests at all times. Philip Scott, the general manager, was particularly kind and helpful during our stay. Our massive suite was furnished with period antiques and original oil paintings, and the huge modern bathroom was larger than many hotel rooms. We especially enjoyed the various public rooms in the main building where we were served tails in the evenings. Staying here was like having an entire country house to ourselves. Our visit was truly superb in every way, and we cannot wait to return.

Fabulous place! The staff were excellent. Professional, attentive and friendly. It is luxuriously decorated and appointed. Our bedroom was very comfortable with everything well thought out. Bathroom too witderfloor heating and plenty of space to lay your personal things out. The tea/coffee biscuit station area in the hallway is a lovely touch. We had dinner and breakfast here. Very enjoyable. The dining room is beautifully decorated with far reaching views over the golf course and the sea. This was one of 7 hotels we stayed at during our trip around the Northcoast 500.

This covered all the basis. Great room great service great food. Nothing was to much trouble. We will return if only for the food and delightful service. A little gem to be savoured. A great selection of whiskey and very knowledgeable staff to advise on tastes you had not experienced.

Room superb, style and quality of the decor everywhere perfect. loved it. Only stayed one night on our NC500 tour but wish it had been longer. Dinner was exceptional. We stayed at several top hotels and this was the best.

Luxurious and comfortable with very friendly and welcoming staff. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Loved the decor and paintings in all of the rooms. The location close to the town and beach is ideal.
