Original Rooms (Main House Double & Main House Deluxe)
Located within the historic Manse House and benefitting from views stretching over the hotel’s private putting green, the first tee at Royal Dornoch or out across the Dornoch Firth, the Deluxe Rooms are a perfect haven from which to enjoy a Highlands adventure. Guests residing in our Beauly, Brora, Helmsdale, Oykel and Shin rooms can kick back in comfort – with Hypnos mattresses and luxury Tielle linens to guarantee the ideal night’s rest. Ensuite bathrooms are finished in Italian marble and come stocked with Arran Sense of Scotland toiletries for the ultimate bathing experience.

Luxury Suites
Found in the Mews and Glenshiel houses, the eight Luxury Suites create the perfect base for an indulgent break away. Cassley, Carron and Conon are located in our Mews, whilst Evelix, Fleet, Halladale, Naver and Thurso are found in Glenshiel. Here, guests can look forward to enjoying hospitality on a grand scale. Glenshiel’s Penthouse Suite, the Mallart apartment offers guests the ultimate Highlands retreat. With a spacious living room featuring a full working fireplace, antique furniture, and objects d’art. Guests can enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the full balcony, with views stretching across the Dornoch Firth, and the suite provides ample space to relax and enjoy the comforts of Links House. With a fully equipped kitchen, boasting Miele appliances which will please the fussiest of home chefs, a comfortable sitting area and dining nook, guests can pre-order groceries, so that it is stocked with their favourite grocery items prior to their arrival, and we can also recommend fantastic local produce for guests wishing to sample fine Scottish Highland cheeses, charcuterie, and other delicious treats. Mallart’s bedroom is a stunning space, which can be enjoyed as a super king or as a twin. With a calming interior featuring touches of blue tartans and tweeds not to mention an eye-catching wardrobe ideal for long stay guests, the space is a fine representation of the very best of Links House. Afternoon Tea
Indulge in a slice of the finest of British traditions and enjoy an afternoon tea at the Links House at Royal Dornoch Hotel.
Our menu features a selection of finely cut sandwiches, expertly crafted savouries, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserves, and a mouth-watering range of exquisitely presented pastries and cakes.

As well as several different types of loose-leaf tea to choose from, why not sip a glass of Joseph Perrier Champagne to add some extra sparkle to the occasion?

Afternoon Tea is served from 12.30pm until 3.30pm with the last reservation at 2.30pm Wednesday to Saturday. Advance booking is required.

Afternoon Tea at Links House costs £29.50 per person, or £39.50 per person including a glass of Champagne.

By Air
Inverness Airport is served by regularly scheduled flights from London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Luton, Belfast City, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Belfast, and Dublin and a daily international flight to Amsterdam.

By Road
Links House is a mere one hour’s drive north from Inverness on the A9. Just four hours from both Glasgow and Edinburgh.
To find the Links House at Royal Dornoch Hotel take the A9 (N) from Inverness, travelling over the Kessock, Cromarty and Dornoch bridges until, after 40 miles approx, you see the turn off for Dornoch. Drive through the High Street in Dornoch until you reach the junction at the end of the street. Here, turn right then take the first left, signposted for Royal Dornoch Golf Club, and you will find Links House adjacent to the clubhouse.

By Rail
Inverness is served by a nightly (excluding Saturday) sleeper service from London Euston. Onward travel with Scotrail serves nearby Tain and Golspie stations.

Reservations for our restaurant can be made through our Guest Relations Team or via our resdiary booking system, dining capacity is limited so please book as soon as possible. Please inform us in advance of any special dietary requirements.

ROOM REQUIREMENTS
We take great care to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible, and we can offer you a choice of bed linen: goose down duvets, alternatively a soft Italian wool blanket and top sheet or non-allergy, just let us know which is preferred.

Our team will tailor every aspect of your bespoke itinerary whether you are looking at country sports such as shooting, stalking and fishing, or guided cycling and hiking itineraries across the majestic Highlands. We are also the perfect base to explore the North Coast 500 with detailed maps and some ‘’off-the-beaton-path’’ route enhancements.

ARRIVAL
Our check in time is from 3pm but if you wish to arrive earlier you are most welcome to do so and use our facilities - we are happy to store your luggage for you until your room is available.
