Courtyard Rooms
The range of Courtyard Rooms include rooms with a separate private lounge area with large screen TV or picture windows taking in the magnificent setting surrounding the hotel. These stunning suites all offer additional comfort and luxury to your stay.

There are two Courtyard Room Types

KILBRIDE ROOM
The Courtyard Kilbride Rooms with a separate bedroom are larger than Courtyard Arran View Rooms and include a separate lounge and bedroom.
Perfect for families with older children or small groups of friends, the sofa bed in the separate lounge area allows a degree of privacy although the bathroom is shared.
Fully tiled large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Courtyard Rooms are located in buildings separate to the main hotel accessed by a short, covered walkway.
Can sleep up to 4 people.

ARRAN VIEW
Open Plan Courtyard Room with Sea View, this room is situated within the grounds of the hotel accessed by a covered walk way

Classic Rooms
Choose from Village or Sea Views. The refurbished classic double or twin rooms are ideal for a comfortable and relaxing stay with earth toned decor and luxury designer finishes

Standard Superior Rooms
Finished to the highest standards superior rooms are in the Victorian part of the hotel and enjoy high ceilings and large windows. Views from the rooms vary between country/village views and overlooking other parts of the hotel. Room sizes vary but all rooms are finished to the same standard. The Orangery Restaurant takes full advantage of its location on the Ayrshire coast. Looking over the grounds of Seamill Hydro and on to over 100 square miles of land and sea. The Orangery features an expanse of glass offering unrivalled views across the hotel’s landscaped gardens and out over the Firth of Clyde and the islands of Arran, and, in the distance Ailsa Craig.

The Aura Lounge Bar
Situated within the prestigious Seamill Hydro, the Aura Lounge Bar offers a relaxed alternative to the acclaimed Orangery Restaurant. With the same principles applied in the Aura kitchen as those in the Orangery, the use of fresh, local ingredients, careful preparation and immaculate presentation you can be sure of a treat for your taste buds every time you visit. The food is simple, good, tasty, wholesome and comforting and exceptionally good value making the Aura the perfect alternative to the Orangery without any risk of compromising quality.

Although simple, each and every dish has been carefully considered, each one tried and tested to meet the executive chefs exacting standards, using fresh ingredients and closely guarded recipes, freshly prepared by hand right here.

Just as important as the delicious food is the warm and friendly service, more relaxed than the Orangery but just as attentive and efficient. The Aura team have been carefully selected to give you the warmest welcome anywhere and then really look after you whether you are in for a quick drink or to enjoy some fabulous food.

As a Lounge Bar you can also be confident that the well stocked bar will have the perfect drink for you. With a large choice of cocktails, malt whisky, gins and other spirits as well as many other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, you don’t need to be hungry to enjoy a trip to the Aura Lounge Bar.

The leisure facilities at Seamill Hydro Hotel include gymnasium with cardiovascular equipment and free weights as well as the recently refurbished swimming pool with mixed sauna and steam room open to members and hotel guests.

SWIMMING POOL
This bright and spacious 16m x 8m heated swimming pool creates the perfect area to swim, exercise and relax, with a poolside area complete with furniture where you can sit between lengths.

The pool area also has a turbo pool and aqua lounger allowing powerful jets to massage those aching muscles.

Also on poolside is the mixed sauna, mixed steam room and feature poolside shower giving both warm drench shower and invigorating cold body and head jets.

  • The pool is open on weekdays from 7am until 9.45pm. Last entry into the pool is 9.15pm
  • The pool is open on weekends from 8am until 8.45pm. Last entry into the pool is 8.15pm
  • Children under 12 years of age can enjoy swimming time until 7pm daily.

GYMNASIUM
The air-conditioned split-level gymnasium caters for all types of workouts, offering a wide range in the latest cardiovascular and resistance equipment, state of the art Technogym equipment with integrated screens offering TV, internet access and virtual work outs. We also have Startrac equipment and concept 2 rowers as well as a range of free weights and functional area.

The gym also takes advantage of the beautiful location where you can enjoy stunning views across to the Isle of Arran during your workout.
The fully trained and professional team are on hand to provide a free induction on technique and advice in the appropriate use of equipment. Furthermore we can offer fitness testing, individually tailored programmes, and personal training to assist you in reaching your goals.

On leaving airport take A78

From Glasgow
Follow M8 to junction 28A Irvine Road A737 Follow directions to Beith then Dalry turn left at traffic lights then first right followed by second left, follow this road for 5 miles to West Kilbride. Turn right at railway station follow road through village turn left at bottom of hill, the Seamill Hydro Hotel is situated on right hand side.
