Had a good stay at seamill hydro food was great room was really big only downside was it was really hot in room even tried to turn radiators of but they wouldn't turn of they had a fan in room which we used but was still really hot

We had a lovely overnight stay at Seamill Hydro Room was very spacious and comfortable. We had an upgrade to sea view room. Dinner was very good and menu quite extensive. Staff friendly. Would definitely return

The only adjustment I would recommend is to make the pool and jacuzzi warmer in winter.

We took our grandson for a 2 night break during mid term hols from school,loved our stay,the room was warm,plenty space for 3 of us and comfortable. Pool was brilliant,breakfast was a joy as the choice is brilliant,loved the view from garden court room,looking over to Arran is spectacular,we also walked up the beach each day. Will be back soon ????

Service in bar slow. Also breakfast served by waiter , but had to help ourselves to tea/ coffee toast etc . Disappointed this was the case in a hotel of this status.. Food and staff in restaurant excellent..Rooms good , we had a good stay although as I said disappointed at breakfast and brvice..

We have stayed at the Seamill Hydro several times and enjoy the setting and the beach. This overnight stay was part of my retirement gifts. On arrival the check-in was quick and the staff member was polite. We were allocated room 102 in the Argyle block. The room was on the ground floor and unfortunately on the side of the smoking area. The room was spacious and clean apart from the main window, which was supposed to give us a partial sea view. It was dirty. The noise of other guests at the smoking area was quite off putting. We dined in the Orangery restaurant within the hotel. The service was very good and the food was delicious. We found the bed quite hard. A blackout blind would have been good on the dirty window as the light from the main hotel building shone in. The brown see through curtains made no difference. On waking up the next morning the heating was not working and the shower was cold. We informed reception, who informed us that they were aware and were sorry, and that was it. So a cold shower it was. We had breakfast as part of our stay which was in the aurora restaurant. The breakfast was lovely. Not our best stay at Seamill.

Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at the Seamill Hydro. Lovely room. The hotel has an amazing setting right on the beach. Look forward to returning.

We stayed 1 night in the courtyard room , room was very spacious so was the toilet great facilities to we used the swimming pool sauna and steam room which were great, we had a lovely meal in the orangery restaurant which is lovely, breakfast was also good.. my only quibble is that the floor boards were really creaky every move you made..

A pretty average stay at Seamill Hydro. We were left feeling. Rather underwhelmed by the non existent welcome to Seamill on our first visit there. We were really looking forward to celebrating our special wedding anniversary there and had heard lovely things about the hotel. We were NOT made to feel welcome on arrival by a member of staff who just didn’t appear interested or happy to be honest. We had a light meal sitting outdoors in the sunshine, to be told that no draft beers were available as the “beers were being moved to the other side of the hotel”. My husband was a bit disappointed and would have been happier if we’d been informed of this on arrival. Also as soon as we placed our order and before the waiter left the table he asked us to pay the full bill, not what we’d expected or given a reason why, perhaps because we chose to sit outdoors?? Our room was ok, however the carpet would have benefited from a good clean. The bed was not comfortable and neither of us slept well. Breakfast was ok. On departure the member of staff on reception was as uninterested as the one who checked us in, didn’t ask if we’d enjoyed our stay or if everything had been ok for us. On reflection ok is all I can say about our first stay at Seamill, underwhelmed to say the least, sadly….

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seamill Hydro,the hotel is 2 minutes from the beach,beautiful building and they have just upgraded the lower half of the hotel for functions and weddings etc. Staff were lovely,garden court room was very comfortable,breakfast is really nice,lots of choice with continental selection,then the waiter will come and take your order for full English breakfast,if you so wish?? Reception staff very helpful,the leisure facilities are great,small pool/jacuzzi,steam and sauna were good. The dining room looks over the beach to Arran,spectacular views,the only problem was my starter being a prawn tail was served to me in a flat plate ,no lettuce,the bread,butter and lemon were covered in prawn tail sauce!! I have never been served a prawn tail as bad as this before!!!! Obv the chef did it in a hurry. Apart from that the rest of the meal was lovely. Waiting staff were great,very hard working,enjoyed my stay and will be back later in the year.

From check in to checkout, everything was great . Loved the room, spacious and clean. Dinner was fabulous, staff attentive. Breakfast superb, continental plus cooked. Again staff brilliant. The whole experience was excellent, only small thing, we love to sit outside with a drink , but no seating.

Beautiful hotel with for spectacular views over to Arran. We were allocated an apartment that was in the annexe which was fabulous. Had a lovely two course meal in the Orangery and later a tail in the bar also enjoyed a swim and sauna in the spa.Staff lovely and helpful would recommend a stay here.

Sadly unimpressed. Food at dinner served cold, wrong wine served, fillet steak tougher than would be expected for 21 day Scottish matured fillet and Cajun chicken tough. Reception staff not particularly welcoming. Pool and jacuzzi water chilly. So, no return visit in the future planned.
