The Roker Hotel was built over 170 years ago and in this time has seen many additions and changes, so we would like you to note that no two of the 43 en-suite rooms are exactly the same.

Italian Farmhouse Restaurant
Just like mama used to make it but in the 21st century, enjoy the aroma of Italy as well as the taste of pizzas baked in the large wood-burning oven providing you with an unrivalled dining experience.
Three restaurants, each with their own individual style and menu, but all sharing the same Italian Farmhouse value of authentic Italian cuisine using a mixture of the finest quality Italian ingredients with only the best local produce for a simply delicious dining experience.

The team want Italian dining to be accessible to all which is why they offer healthy eating ‘Skinnylicious’ options, vegetarian and vegan diets as well as gluten intolerance. These options are marked throughout the menus.

Poetic License
With a fair hand and full of heart, be at liberty to make Poetic License bar your own experience. You’ll find premium spirits are lovingly created by hand only meters away from where you’ll be ordering our original gin cocktails.

On the bar, there are both ales and craft kegs from local and national breweries, including the hotel's own Sonnet 43 beers, as well as bottles from around the world.

Using their own spirits handmade right at the hotel, the bar staff have created all kinds of concoctions. From the sweet and eclectic to the good old classics, and even seasonally inspired creations – there’s a cocktail for whatever tickles your fancy.
