Had an excellent stay. Just wanted a night away but not far a drive and wasn't disappointed. I remember being in this hotel when it was The Goldenstones and the transformation is unbelievable. The staff were lovely, the room was beautiful, the beds were so comfy and the bathroom was huge! We are in the restaurant at night and the food was first class. Just couldn't fault it. Breakfast was beautiful too. Cannot fault anything at all. Thank you for a lovely stay. We were in the superior room for anyone reading this review. Don't go past this hotel. Way better than a 3 star

We had lovely night stay. Apart from room being an upgrade we thought was very small and tiny bathroom. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay. The food was excellent and staff to.

Had a lovely stay at the hotel. All staff were very friendly. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The bar well stocked - nice and inviting. Breakfast was great. Would definitely book again

Very pleasant staff and management. We were given an upgrade and our room was lovely. So clean and fresh. Food was delicous, waiting staff were very attentive. Nice quiet area.

Always an enjoyable stay at Dunmuir Hotel - our 'go-to' hotel if visiting East Lothian. A clean, quiet room with space to move around plus a comfortable king-size bed suits well. The dining room is a pleasant space to dwell in for both breakfast and dinner and the food offering is kept noticeably fresh, local and good quality: local people out for dinner often mingle with hotel residents. Most o, the staff make the stay consistently warm, welcoming and personable. We could not ask for anything more - Thank you as always to the excellent Dunmuir Team!

Had a lovely overnight stay at Dunmuir Hotel. The staff were so friendly, our room was comfortable and had everything we needed and the food was of a really high quality. The hotel is well situated for walking into the town and to the picturesque little harbour. I'd recommend this hotel and we'll return in the future.

Thoroughly recommend the Dunmuir Hotel, especially if you’re travelling with your dog/s. We had an amazing time and our dogs were made very welcome throughout the hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much bother. Hotel is in a good location.

Had a lovely two night stay with our wee dog. I gave the bedroom a 9 as the cupboard space was small and a chest of drawers would have been handy.

I can honestly say the staff were so attentive and nothing a problem. They arranged a surprise birthday dessert for my husband which was a lovely touch. The food is very good with a good menu. We had a lovely large room on the ground floor. Overall a lovely visit

Room was clean, comfortable and cosy with all the basics that you need for a short stay. Staff were friendly. Food was top quality - cooked breakfast had good, locally sourced ingredients; dinner had a good selection of large and small plates. Good value all round.

Lovely hotel which mixes modern and traditional areas very well. Polite and friendly staff and great food. Comfortable room with a view of the sea, however the four flights of stairs were a killer for me, but would be fine for younger fitter people. Really enjoyed our stay here and also Dunbar itself.

Stayed here on the 30th June, what a lovely hotel owners and staff were amazing and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble, we got a nice wee upgrade to room 5 it was gorgeous , we ate in hotel too and that did not disappoint, we will definitely be back

Great hotel, staff and service. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is superb ... great choice, freshly cooked and served with a smile. Hotel restaurant has been newly decorated and is very stylish and comfortable. Location is great to enjoy all that Dunbar has to offer. Will definitely be back for another visit.

As always, an enjoyable weekend stay at the friendly, family-run Dunmuir Hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable and peaceful; dinner on both nights was tasty, good quality and beautifully-presented in the cosy relaxed 1902 Grill Restaurant. We always look forward to the excellent breakfast, with plenty of choice and featuring quality local produce. Above all, the Dunmuir Team offer truly warm, hospitable service with good humour. Staff friendly and helpful, good location as is only a short walk from the town centre. Room comfortable and decor spot on. Lovely selection of food and especially so at breakfast time.

We actually stayed 2 nights. The first was paid for by a gift voucher from our family. Friendly, comfortable hotel with good restaurant and well stocked bar. First visit to Dunbar after an absence of several decades.
