My friend and I had an amazing stay at the Mercure Hotel in Liverpool. The Staff were very friendly and more than willing to Help. Ella on reception was first class. The location over looking the docks was lovely. Cannot fault this hotel and will definitely be returning.

Check in was pleasant . Room had spectacular view . Bed was very clean and very comfortable. Good to have two chairs in room There are 3 lifts and wait was never too long to get to upper floors. Glad to find brved food which was good.Member of staff on duty each evening work hard. Unsure if restaurant open - we were maybe too early and should have asked. No information found in room and no information heard at check in. . Did not try service to room but menu looked good. Room was cleaned well and towels changed . Shower over bath with rail fixed to wall. Slight leak through shower door to floor. Toiletries provided in refillable containers and option to hang up towels for reuse. Coffee machine and pods provided as well as kettle. No refill on tea coffee or the one pack of biscuits provided but assume you could ask at desk. Foyer is lovely and seats provided. Possible to leave case and collect later which was appreciated. Hotel is perfectly situated to explore areas of Liverpool . Even the tour bus 25 has a stop further up the street. Breakfast is buffet style and is fine. Nice to sit in restaurant with lots of windows. Maybe selection could improve or be topped up more frequently ( for example fresh fruit) Overall good value for money and would happily use again . Thank you

Excellent location nice room apart from the curtains they looked beyond repair full of holes letting the light in! breakfast was okay but dont understand the ordering of eggs & mushrooms most of the time there was always something missing be it tomatoes bacon or sausage the dishes were so small so you didnt get a full breakfast plenty of choice though!

Comfortable two night stay with no complaints. Would have benefitted from more information at breakfast regarding menu availabity. As an example, mushrooms are not on the hotplate, you need to ask for a portion. Various other items not displayed. Unless you "know the ropes" you miss out.

Lovely hotel and perfect location. On check in, Leah was very friendly and helpful and arranged for free early check-in. I often do a booking for up to 3 rooms for meeting with friends. It was appreciated that I could secure the reservation with my credit card but payment wasn't taken until we checked in.

Room was clean but toilet cistern carried on filling up till you rattled buttons, Sundays breakfast was a shambles 25 minutes wait for eggs then went to get bacon another 5 minutes wait then then when bacon came told another 10 for sausage gave up waste of time.final morning receptionist rang 11.45 asking why we not checked out we had 1pm check out so not think id rebook.

This hotel is supposed to be dog friendly Even the bar is not dog friendly although you cannot leave them unattended in the room Eventually after deciding we wanted a refund and leave did they allow us to eat in the bar and we had to fetch breakfast and eat it in the foye Staff were all very helpful and friendly Room a bit tired with no windows which open

Hi. We were put in a small room on 7th floor on both separate nights we booked. In both rooms the curtains were moth eaten and in the first room, the toilet seat was far too small for the loo. We ate in the bar the first night but the food was cold when we got it. The beds etc were clean and it was adequate for a one night stay. Think the myhotelbreak customers are stuck in these little rooms on floor 7.

Great hotel and excellent location and river view from our room. Courteous and efficient staff are reception. Comfortable spacious room and well serviced with a Nespresso machine and plenty of coffee. Excellent .. We'll be back.

Had a one night stay here. Hotel is in a good location, handy for visiting all attractions and sightseeing. The room and bathroom were very clean and although cold, wet and windy out, was nice and warm. Breakfast was excellent too, with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay here again.
