The Cairngorm Hotel, Aviemore

We had an enjoyable overnight at this hotel, the room were clean and comfortable and the lounge and dining area were very welcoming. The breakfast and dinner was delicious and the service was fast and efficient. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. This is partly my fault for not reading the details when booking but my father struggles a bit with stairs and with there being no lift it was a bit of a challenge going to and from his room, thankfully tho it was on the 1st floor. Other than that, a beautiful friendly hotel and would definitely stay again.

Smashing 3 night stay in cosy double room. Room/bathroom was immaculate and bed very comfy. Great bar and grub was good.

We had an excellent Friday and Saturday night stay here. The car park provides ample parking, we had a nice friendly welcome and were attended to straight away, and the room (Room 106) was cosy and nicely appointed with a superking bed. The bathroom has also recently been refitted and was excellent. The service/ food/ drinks at the hotel were all excellent. Unfortunately the Scottish Government has decreed that background music is not to be played just now, and so the restaurant and bar were a bit quiet at times, BUT that's beyond the control of the hotel, and the staff were friendly, helpful and chatty which made up for this. Overall - really good value, well located, the place has a nice Scottish feel and decor, and we will be back

We enjoyed a warm welcome at this lovely hotel. The Cairngorm is a homely hotel with nice rooms well presented. The breakfast was excellent and the staff most attentive. The hotel is situated in Aviemore and has easy access to shops and restaurants nearby. We certainly enjoyed our stay and will visit again

Spent 1 night in the Cairngorm and we were not disappointed. In these difficult times the bar was closed and the hotel is operating under necessary restrictions. However the staff were excellent, the room far superior to a far more expensive 4 star in Pitlochry where we spent the previous evening. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent and look forward to returning again. Well done

Enjoyed a one night stay here at Cairngorm. Hotel was very clean and in very good order, nice decor. A warm welcome on arrival from staff. We booked for evening meal, menu had a good choice to suit all. Very nice food and again a lovely breakfast in the morning. We had a small double room over looking the hills, very nice room and good shower. Staff are doing a great job during these difficult times and make you feel very safe. Great location in Aviemore
