What friendly staff and they were so helpful, The hotel is so cosy. First time bringing our dog, we will definitely be back. We had a double deluxe room with a small patio, I was blown away how lovely it was. The food is delicious as always

Lovely friendly welcome from staff on arrival with quick and easy check-in. Room was comfortable, clean and well equipped for our stay. The restaurant was busy as usual with fantastic choices available .

Excellently placed Hotel with good accommodation, friendly staff and good quality food. Only downside is accommodation is outwith the main building and a short walk away. Not brilliant in bad weather - worth letting customers aware at time of booking.

I would highly recommend the oak tree inn for anyone who wants pure relaxation, the accommodation was just perfect, the food was excellent and the staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us, will definitely be going back xx

Booked a nights stay at the Oak tree Inn on 4th march (my birthday). Got a call that a room in the main building was not available and was offered a stay in one of their cottages, which was gratefully accepted, but on arrival was disappointed as it turned out to be a room in a cottage,but my partner and i made the most of the stay.

Lovely place to rest and relax. The room was very comfortable and clean, even included little welcome treats and bed for our dog. Food was delicious. We highly recommend a stay at the Oak Tree Inn.

We booked a deluxe room as a birthday treat. The photo on your site showed a spacious room with fire, chandelier etc. The room we were checked into bore no resemblance to the photos displayed by you. I spoke with reception immediately as felt quite sure that we had been checked into the wrong room - this room looked like a standard room or perhaps superior at the very best. I was assured this was the room booked and the inn had had previous problems like this with the photos displayed by yourselves bearing no resemblance to the room which was booked. The inn have indicated that they have taken this up with you and I note the picture previously displayed has disappeared. Can I please have your feedback please. Extremely disappointed. The hotel staff were pleasant with food for breakfast and dinner options being very good. However, the issue with our room did start things off on a bad note and my disappointment with that I feel coloured all aspects of our stay (and not in a good way).

Hotel excellent and staff welcoming and helpful. Only issue was our accommodation was located within a Cottage upper floor, and my guest struggled with the stairs. Hotel should either ask or state in booking to avoid disappointment.

Fantastic hotel! Booked DBB and stayed in one of the cottages overlooking the Loch. Very friendly staff, great "pub grub" dinner and plenty of choice at breakfast. Ideal stay for Conic Hill walk, would definitely stay again ?

Reception quick efficient explained cottage and details. Room was clean classy, comfee bed, great heating, view of Loch. Shower was immense, quit and peaceful. Had lunch snacks, tasty and great value. Bar nice place to be, staff friendly, evening meal was average, but overall a fantastic deal

Hotel staff amazing, hotel and ground were great immaculate. Food was 10 out of 10. Stayed in one of the cottages, which was perfection, loved it. We had the best time, and already planning next trip

The rooms at Oak Lodge were nice, and I’m glad I upgraded, as the superior double was still a bit on the small side. That said, the room itself was comfortable and well presented. The service was exceptional — genuinely friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our stay, which really stood out and deserves credit. Unfortunately, the food was a let-down. I chose the Highlander burger and was very disappointed to find it was a processed burger, not fresh mince prepared on the day. For the price being charged, this was not what I expected and felt vastly overpriced for the quality offered. Overall, great service and pleasant rooms, but the food did not live up to expectations.

The service in this place was outstanding staff were so friendly and the little cottage style (41) we stayed in was beautiful. The only downside was how uncomfortable the bed was I ended up moving onto the couch in the living room to sleep it was like a hard board ?maybe it was just me but it was very uncomfortable!

Had a lovely stay at Oak tree inn and have already booked my next stay for April. Lovely warm place and all staff could not do enough for us. It is a great base for some good walks

Loved our overnight stay. Room was a good size and had everything we needed, local coffee was a nice touch. Bathroom a good size and shower was powerful and warm. Room was immaculate and bed was big with a big tv. Lovely view onto the water. We ate in the restaurant, food and service really good and there was a lovely friendly atmosphere. My only down side is I never slept well as the bed was really firm but I understand that’s personal choice. Definitely be back and would highly recommend!!
