A wonderful stay at a fantastic hotel! The rooms far exceeded our expectations, very luxurious and spotlessly clean. Absolutely every single member of staff were so friendly, really helpful and very cheerful! The restaurant was amazing, a lovely atmosphere and very cozy with the open fire. The food was simply fantastic, again, exceeded our expectations, everything we had was delicious, good homemade dishes, served piping hot by wonderful staff, really can't recommend enough that you eat here, it's a real gem of a restaurant. Breakfast was again superb, lots of choice and delicious. The bar is well stocked, lots of fine scotch whisky and gins etc. The adjoining shop and coffee house are fabulous, particularly St Mocha coffee shop where they serve their own Loch Lomond coffee produced on site, and it's fabulous! Not to mention the scrumptious home baking and ice cream. We need to go on a diet after visiting here!! Overall a fantastic stay in a true gem of a hotel in magical, beautiful Balmaha. We are planning our next visit already. It's a 10/10 from us, thank you to all the team at the Oak Tree Inn, we loved our stay, see you next time, Neil and Zifa xx

Lovely destination, accommodation and evening meal. Breakfast disappointing, not very warm and rather tough. Accommodation needed two seats, only one supplied.

We had a lovely stay at The Oak tree inn...our room no.34 as a Deluxe was situated within the James cottage a few yards from the actual Inn.. with parking spot...every where was tastefully decorated warm and inviting with a decking area showing loch and greenery views.. electric log burner fire..and underfloor heating in the shower area...not a great deal of storage to put wash bags etc..but the shower is a large space... beautifully clean and contemporary styled...we were made very welcome at the Inn..as a guest we wanted to have an afternoon drink as we had booked dinner for that evening but although the bar is a cosy space there are only tables for eating set... although we were welcomed to have just drinks..we did feel a little conuous just having a drink there...all staff are lovely bar menu extensive as was the lunchtime menu. On Thursdays and Sundays there is entertainment in the larger of the restaurants which was very nice..our meal was lovely pub grub with attentive service but again felt we would have liked to linger in a lounge area with further drinks to end the evening. But this is just our thoughts..The Inn is a lovely place..relaxing and full of interesting vintage memorabilia to look at...all in all a lovely stay..value for money and we enjoyed being there.

Absolutely loved our stay, beautiful surroundings and setting. We stayed in a superior pod which was lovely. Only thing was it’s described as having a loch view which yes if you walk out and go over to the fence. Assumed it was facing the loch from the pod itself. Would definitely return here and stay in the hotel. Cottages are beautiful too. A cracking place to visit.

Fabulous 2 night break at this great hotel. Had a deluxe room in Aber cottage with stunning views looking out to Loch Lomond. The room was spotless and very well cleaned on arrival. Food was fantastic as well and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely be staying here again in the future

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this visit to Oak Tree Inn. Some nice touches have been added also visible rooms have been freshly painted with some nice tasteful furniture and the refreshed décor improvements adding to guest pleasure. Location is stunning on Eastern corner of Loch Lomond. Our room was very spacious with additional lounge space in Cottery cottage. Dinner in the inn delicious again with decent portion size and breakfast a varied tasty selection of hot and cold choices with buffet selection extremely tasty served piping hot. Delightful Scottish ambiance in scenic spot with coffeeshop and village store for convenience. We so look forward to our next stay at Balmaha and myhotelbreak promotional offer.

We had an overnight stay in a superior pod with dinner and breakfast. The pod was clean, comfortable and had everything you need, the only issue was water pressure wasn’t great but I expect there is nothing that can be done about that. All the staff were extremely welcoming especially the lady on reception. The food was lovely and I can’t wait to stay again

We had a brilliant time in the Oak tree in hotel the room was beautiful we had a great view over Loch Lomond and had lovely soft robes to wear and slippers it was dead posh the food was brilliant breakfast was fantastic .I am gluten intolerant and they had plenty for me .The main meal was fantastic to just can’t say enough about the hotel Kirsty on reception was so friendly and helpful always smiling will be back 10 out of 10 ??

When we booked the Oak Tree in we were expecting to find a nice quiet hotel. Whilst it is on a "no through road" it is closely situated next to a stretch of the West Highland Way. We were there just before Easter and the place was heaving. Many walkers come in for meals and there is a large outside seating area. We were in a cottage which was well presented although the bathroom was quite small. We had a problem with the one evening and the receptionist sorted it out hlf by the time we had finished dinner. Parking was virtually outside the cottage. There were lots of foreign visitors who had come to Scotland to enjoy the walks and the scenery. The Inn appears very successful at what it does. All in all we had no complaints, just not what we had expected.

We had an absolutely lovely break here for our 40th wedding anniversary from start to finish. We were delighted we were upgraded to a pod which was stunning . Reception staff were fab and we enjoyed a good chat with them. Waiting staff for drinks were lovely too. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening which was delicious and plentiful. Breakfast the next morning was amazing and plenty of options . The hotel was so nice we opted for a late check out. Will definitely return.

Lovely place. Rooms quite small but had everything we needed. Information booklet on 10 things to do in Loch Lomond was lovely and a great idea. Good was fab especially next to the log fire. The staff at this hotel could not have been nicer and really helpful
