Situated in the heart of Drymen, a charming village in the southern part of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, The Oak Tree Inn is approximately 20 miles (32 km) north of Glasgow.
By Car:
Head north on the M8 motorway toward Stirling.
Take Exit 30 onto the M898 motorway, following signs for Erskine Bridge.
Cross the Erskine Bridge over the River Clyde.
Continue on the A82 road, which will take you through the town of Alexandria.
Follow the A811, which will lead you to the village of Balloch at the southern tip of Loch Lomond.
Continue on the A811 as it follows the eastern shore of Loch Lomond.
You'll pass through the village of Drymen.
Keep following the A811 until you reach Balmaha. The Oak Tree Inn is located in the heart of the village.
By Public Transport:
You can take a train from Glasgow to Balloch, which is the nearest train station to Balmaha.
From Balloch, you can take a bus or taxi to Balmaha. The journey is relatively short.
