My wife and I stayed here for just one night for our wedding anniversary. The staff were very nice and attentive, we were made welcome on arrival at the hotel and when we came down for dinner. Service was excellent and the food we had at dinner was exceptional.

plus side we had a lovely room bright and large plus excellent Shower. lovely old panelled staircase & dining room. access a bit difficult but I managed o.k Very nice y oung pleasant staff but senior management shocking lack of inter- personal skills. I made one complaint , but wished I hadn,t . we observed when dining the tense atmosphere felt sorry for mainly foreign girls &boys . As for the famous food etc., it was o.k. Hotel in nice quieter part of Jy lovely bays & views . great cliff walks . overall a bit too expensive for whats on offer.

Hiding under a cliff in Rozel tends to make the back bedrooms a bit dark. Excellent welcome and staff were friendly and efficient. Would have liked tea and coffee making facil in the room. Bathroom was large with an excellent shower (no bath), but with only a small towel rail for heating, it was cold. Also there's no shelf in the bathroom so wash bag has to go on the floor. Food in the restaurant was excellent, but the wine list is a shadow of of its former self and merely okay. Breakfast was first rate.
