We stayed in one of the Ben Lomond lodges, and the apartment was great. Very spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The view from the apartment was fabulous. The location is very remote so hard to find things to do in the winter but we visited Aberfoyle for dinner a couple of times which is only a 10 minute drive. My only advice would be that we were advised WiFi and electricity was not included in the price we paid however when arriving at the hotel, we were advised this was not correct. The only change needed is the communication sent out by my hotel break as this is slightly misleading! Overall a perfect stay

Excellent apartments which are very spacious and had 3 bathrooms one with a sauna.Excellent facilities - swimming pool, steam room, sauna, pool, snooker, table tennis. The hotel website did not do it justice and we would return again without hesitation. The only criticism was that when I tried to phone the hotel the day before we arrived,no-one would answer.

Had booked a similar break last year and really enjoyed it and thought the accommodation was excellent. However this year we were in a similar lodge but the property we stayed in was dated and really needed an upgrade. The bathrooms were not really up to the standard we expected and the leather sofa in the living area was cracked and a bit old looking which made the experience a little disappointing. The swimming pool was good and the play park had everything my 3 year old would look for in a park. Even the decor in the bedrooms was a bit tired and so could do with being freshened up.

Thoroughly enjoyed the long weekend at the self catering apartments at Forest Hills. This was our first time staying here and will happily return. We had booked a 2 bed apartment so we could have a separate room for our toddler. It was so well equipped and the decor was lovely. My husband made use of the sauna in our apartment and I used the pool and sauna in the main building which was great. Highly recommend this property. Relaxing and lovely surroundings

Amazing location over looking Loch Ard and a short drive from Aberfoyle and the Lake of Monteith. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with views over the loch and a large balcony. Bedroom and lounge were large and nicely furnished. Kitchen had every you could hope for in a self catering apartment and more. Bathrooms were slightly dates but clean. Hotel has a small but nice pool and spa. We only ate in the informal restaurant. Food was fine if a bit underwhelming in terms of choice or culinary flair. There's so much to do in the surrounding area if you enjoy the outdoors. Would stay agin if in the area.

Lovely building in a stunning location. Lodges are well equipped and very clean. The grounds are very pretty. Great for taking good photographs. The food in the rafters bar is good. The drinks are very expensive. They say that WiFi is available but it's not in the lodges & you will lose the will to live waiting for it anywhere else. All staff polite and helpful.

The accommodation is excellent, spacious, well equipped and clean. The site facil are good, with indoor pool, gym and steam room. There is also tennis, basketball, table tennis and snooker. Just nearby there is much to do at the "Go Country" centre. Canoes and kayaks, fishing, cycling and obstacle course
