We stayed 2 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast and really enjoyed ourselves. In the main, staff were attentive, pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious and the accommodation clean and comfortable. I lived the little extras such as a cream tea in the afternoon. We stayed in November with below freezing exterior temperatures and yet the hotel was lovely and warm. Would definitely recommend as a base for visiting the lakes and would happily return and stay again.

Spent a Saay night here and it was so relaxing and the pool and spa were great as was the breakfast and staff were very friendly It's also very local to the aquarium , south lakes zoo and the motor museum :-)

Spent a weekend here mid November. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom adequate but a little tired. The hotel itself was very warm and inviting, with a comfortable lounge and attached inn, both with lovely log fires. Dining room was very smart and the food was excellent. Best o the staff were absolutely marvellous. Highly recommended especially if you have a little dog!
