An enjoyable stay in a clean, modern fully equipped family friendly stay in the centre of Kendal. Staff very friendly and helpful, room very clean with comfortable beds. Our little girl enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool and we were able to use the hotel gym. Breakfast and any food we eat was to a high standard. Would recommend it to all. Very pleased overall!

Rooms were very cozy and the highlight of the visit for myself. Food was a bit pricy but good. Staff was as helpful as could be expected and then some.

I booked a short break at this hotel and was really happy with my choice. The hotel facil are very good and the staff are all very helpful & polite. The leisure facil are excellent, with a well equipped gym along with a good swimming pool, which also has a sauna and steam room. The location is absolutely ideal as it is located near Kendal town centre with adequate (free) car parking. The location also offers easy access to the rest of the Lake District. The breakfasts are buffet style with a huge selection of well cooked food. The restaurant offers good quality dining, served by very attentive staff. This hotel offers great value for money and I highly recommend it if you are visiting the area.

We stayed here for a 60th wedding anniversary. We were all very happy with our very comfortable rooms. The breakfast and evening food was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful . Very good value for money.

Brought my partner here for a 2 day break prior to his birthday. Room was spotless, fabulous views of the river from our room where we spotted a heron, cormorant and kingfisher. I booked the winter getaway deal which really was excellent value. Both the food and service was excellent, staff were very professional and friendly. The hotel is well placed for exploring windermere and other areas in the vicinity. Really enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend this hotel.
