This was our fourth time staying in the pods at the hotel. We absolutely love it there. The pods and hotel are spotless and the staff are fantastic so is the food. Highly recommend ?

Fantastic stay and service. The rooms are a little tired but adequate for the price. However the communal areas were very nicely done and well kept. The view from the hotel restaurant is stunning and the food was tasty and fresh. The hotel staff were very attentive and the service was excellent. We will definitely return.

Bedroom was very 70s with dark, worn pine furniture , orange carpets, dark tuquoise walls & grey curtains so looked very dated. Lamp shades were mismatched, and Shabby and walls were damaged and scuffed. Bathroom had no hand soap but was clean. Areas on stairs with ornaments were thick of dust. The stair carpet changed on the 2nd floor and was very worn on the edges. Dinner was from a set menu for the deal we had booked. Steak pie arrived with 3 bayleaves still in with the meat. Veg was green beans, carrots & swede but the latter was inedible as it was so hard. Partner had chips which were frozen, not fresh and we noticed a few other diners had left theirs. I had mash but had to leave that as it was horrible instant potato. Dessert of sticky toffee pudding was very dry and only saved by the quantity of sauce provided with the sponge. We weren't asked at any point if we had enjoyed our meal & service was very slow at 7pm although staff seemed friendly enough. Breakfast was limited choice. Full Scottish, cereal, toast, over-cooked croissant, apples, oranges & yoghurt that had been stood on the counter top 7.30am to 9.30am. Definitely not worthy of another visit as it reminded us of old Blackpool b&bs.

Views from room spectacular. Rooms a little tired as are alot of other areas in hotel. Appeared our room had been used for guests with dogs previously as there was alot of dog hair on carpet. Not ideal if you have an allergy. Breakfast was ok. Floor in breakfast seating area had not been cleaned very well. Dinner was very tasty. Good for one night stay.

We have stayed here a few times now in their luxury pods and have a great time everytime. Pods are super cosy and clean they have everything you need and the view from your decking is looking right onto the Loch.

Another fantastic stay at the Onich hotel beach pods. The beach pods are comfortable and cosy and the scenery is beautiful. The staff at the Onich hotel are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the breakfast in the morning is good. Overall another great overnight and we will book to stay again x

We stayed in one of the hotels luxury pods for two nights. The pod was very clean, fully equipped and had an uninterrupted fantastic view of the Loch. Unfortunately there is very limited clothes storage in the pod so wouldn't consider booking for any longer than a couple of days/nights. We had a couple of minor issues, biggest being the closeness of the pod to the main road. Every time a lorry passed the pod shook and the TV signal was lost for a moment. The road is busy between about 6.00am till around 8.00pm. Better to take ear plugs to ensure a good sleep. Other small issues didn't take away from the overall good experience. The hotel itself looks to have been refurbished, or is going through a gradual refurbishment process. Public areas are looking good for a 3? hotel and are clean. Bar area is large, with plenty choice and a few board games. It was very quiet when we stayed. We only had breakfast in the hotel, which was buffet hot and cold selections. It was plentiful and of reasonably good quality. We would definitely consider going back, for another couple of nights, but may go for the standard pods which are well away from the main road and still have the uninterrupted loch views.

Nice hotel in a beautiful location right on the loch. Room was on the road unfortunately so no view but was clean and functional. Food was good but the restaurant was a bit cold and lacking in atmosphere. Breakfast was ok but again the room was cold , people in their coats! No pictures or curtains. In the summer would probably be a better experience.

Luxury Beach Pods were lovely to look at, we stayed in the Islay Pod for 1 night only with 2 nights booked, this particular Pod isn’t in the best location as it’s close to the main road & personally we found it lacking in some utensils etc

We stayed in one of the beach pods and it was amazing to just wake up and see that view. We had breakfast and dinner both days in the hotel and there was such a variety and choice and the food was very tasty. The staff couldn’t have been friendly and more welcoming. We will defo be back x

Was booked in for 2 of the luxury pods , however when we arrived we where allocated the basic ones, when we questioned this they moved one of us to the luxury pod that was available but didn't have another one spare so unfortunately the other couple with us stayed in the other pod 200 yards away. (This is being resolved by the hotel) We didn't let this spoil our night away and spent the night relaxing on the balcony of the luxury pod, which I will say was great, only thing they could add to this would be a patio heater . We didn't have dinner at the hotel but did have breakfast and that was fine. Would recommend the hotel as it's based ideally for hill walking and exploring.

Had a great 1 night stay in one of the beach pods, great views, good heater was nice and warm on arrival. Outside chairs and table getting slightly weathered but other chairs inside that we used. Watched rugby and football in bar which was very nice and modern and breakfast was nice too. Will definitely return again.

Had a 2 night stay in the beach pod & everything was just perfect. Beach pod was well equipped with everything you would need & was spotlessly clean. The only thing I would have changed was the very squeaky bed. But even that gave us some laughs. The hotel staff were fantastic, very welcoming & friendly, The food is delicious, fresh and plentyfull. The views are breathtakingly beautiful, I can not recommend visiting here enough if you're looking for a peaceful, picturesque, relaxing break. We will definitely be returning.

I really liked the Onich Hotel. It is a bit dated and tired in places but the room was comfortable and warm. The bathroom had been refurbished and was very good. The dinning room and breakfast room were very spacious and well looked after. The location of the hotel is very good with access to the loch side and easy access to walks, Fort William and Glencoe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The evening meals and breakfast were very good.
