Beautiful location spoiled by the dated hotel. Room not great bed very hard and old squeaked with every movement. Window frames covered in damp mould roof and wall stained too, which left the room smelly.Food could have been better stayed 3nights, 2nights hotel couldnt supply the food that was on tne menu. Most of the staff pleasant. Wil not be stopping here again.

What the hotel lacks in decorative style it makes up for in quality of service. Our cases were whisked away to the rooms on arrival and every member of staff was smiling and helpful. The food was tasty and it came promptly. All in all (and especially considering the 2 nights for 1 offer) an excellent start to our Highland holiday.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Onich Hotel. The room we had was lovely and staff very attentive. The breakfast food was lovely but I felt the bar meals could have been better, it let the hotel down a little.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly and any queries were dealt with promptly. Was looking forward to the passcard for the sauna and swimming but hotel stopped offering this 18 months ago

Nice hotel with the most spectacular view. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food is very good. excellent base for touring beautiful west coast. Have stayed here on a number of occasions and look forward to my next visit.

On arrival we were given a warm welcome , given the information we required..room was very good , very clean ,and everything in it's place..food was of a good standard and service matched..we enjoyed a very relaxing stay ..Hotel in beautiful location ..Thank You ..

stayed in room 9. everything first class except tiny shower cubicle, plenty of room for a decent sized cubicle. would have preferred a seperate dining area rather than a multi-purpose room. stunning location. would return but only with the benefit of classic brians discount

Hotel did not come up to standard. On arrival they had no record of our booking. We had to accept the only room available, a twin bedded room of barely acceptable standard. (No hot water, faulty faucet taps). We informed reception of the problem but took it no further since we were to be moved to another room the following evening. We had originally reserved a superior room (booking made in February 2012) but had agreed with Classic Britain to accept a standard double since we could not have a superior room for the 3 nights. We were offered a bottle of wine as compensation and moved to a superior room on the 2nd evening (and charged excess). I was disappointed that the evening meals were served in the bar and not in the dining room. On two occasions we reserved a table in advance but on arriving for dinner the table had been offered to other diners. Staff were pleasant but not really attentive to detail. The location of the hotel and its outlook over the loch were beautiful as described. It is with regret that we say we would not consider returning to the Onich Hotel.

Very welcoming and friendly staff, beautiful views over the loch from the balcony bedroom. Rooms are a bit tired and dated, bed a bit to firm and rather squeaky as were the floor boards!!! House keeping could have been better stayed 3 nights and the dust on tv stand was still there. The cooked breakfast was just too greasy would have preferred my food grilled. I did however enjoy the food in the restaurant the both nights we ate there. Superb staff, hotel requires some TLC not suitable for people with mobility problems.
