Beautifully refurbished hotel, very helpful staff, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is beautiful however I would suggest that it is a wedding venue. We couldn’t get into the bar for a drink due to the wedding party being there The room was stifling hot The breakfast was served until 9.00 am which was particularly early this would put me off going again

I visited with my husband, we're both pensioners. Having read some other reviews, we were a little concerned about our stay having read comments about food, service and value for money. We loved it! Breakfast was plentiful, with our cooked choices being served as quickly as you could hope for. Our only gripe was the tea was pretty weak but,then again, we are fans of "builders' tea". The staff we encountered were all lovely and helpful from the, we think, cleaning staff, whose break we interrupted on our early arrival, to the two receptionists / breakfast servers. The hotel has been completly and tastefully upgraded. We were lucky enough to visit on a beautiful day and really enjoyed soaking up the sun on the lovely terrace. It is obvious that the hotel is geared up for weddings as even the carpark is a pleasant environment with lots of benches and well-tended plants. Our "classic" rear-facing room was small but spotlessly clean. It was a little too warm for us but the windows in the bedroom and ensuite actually open - almost a novelty in hotels these days. Not the cheapest hotel we've stayed in in the area but, based on our experience, it was worth it. We're looking forward to a return - and to sample the front- facing bedrooms. Finally, if visitors want to eat in town beyond the pleasant ice cream / Italian / pub grub options, we can't recommend Thirty3 highly enough.

Stayed a few nights at Brisbane Hotel. What a pleasure.Cleanliness,food etc could not be faulted.The biggest asset of the hotel was the staff,from reception,to bar/restaurant staff,were so pleasant and anxious to please,they made our stay the best it could be.A wee word for Heather in reception ,we left something in our room,we telephoned t.he next day ,item found,and posted on,received following day, this reflects the standards set at the Brisbane. Brilliant!

UPGRADED TO A SUITE. LOVELY ROOM WITH SEAVIEW. MY HUSBAND AND I HAD THE SAME FOR DINNER. I HAD TO SEND MINE BACK. THE PORT WAS SO TOUGH I COULDN'T CUT IT. IT WAS REPLACED. AT BREAKFAST MY TEA WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, AND MY HUSBANDS COFFE THE SAME. THE POT OF AND THE TEAPOT HAD A TERRIBLE SMELL. OTHOUGH IT WAS CLEANING FLUID. THE SERVER SAID PERHAPS IT WAS THE WATER FROM THE COFFEE MACHINE SHE WAS USING AND IN FUTURE WOULD USE THE URN IN THE KITCHEN. I CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW THAT WAS NOT PICKED UP BEFORE..

We had a amazing time in Brisbane hotel,the room was fantastic with sea view,spotless clean and all the facilities you would need in a hotel. The food is amazing ,note that dinner is 15pounds per person and most main meals are roughly that but to be honest it didn't bother us to pay for dessert. The staff are brilliant couldn't do enough for you,special thanks to Mary on reception very helpful and lovely woman Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed in Brisbane House Hotel before and have enjoyed both visits, superior sea view rooms have plenty of space and good sitting area. Hotel staff were attentive and friendly with hotel decor modern, bright and colourful. Dinner choice was excellent and breakfast was definitely the full version!! My hotelbreak dinner, breakfast, bottle of wine with superiour sea view room was great value.

Beautiful hotel nice breakfast. That’s where it ends went to check in @14.50 got told check in was 15.00, we were told to come back then we went Back @15.30 room still not ready told to come back @16.00 we waited till 16.30 to go back. We got told the room was ready when we went upstairs to the room the door was open the room was not ready there was a towel lying on the bathroom floor the bed wasn’t made up and there was a mobile phone on the dressing table. I stood outside the room my wife went back to reception to tell them the room wasn’t cleaned the lady at the desk apologised she had looked at the room next door. We eventually checked in around 18.00 it totally wasted our night away. Apparently there was a big wedding on the night before. NOT OUR PROBLEM. The hotel accepted our booking and didn’t honour it we lost 3 hours out our time and Had our night ruined

Fabulous hotel stayed four nights bb the hotel is right on the promenade and what a super view we had from our room. The breakfast was amazing and plentiful. The room lovely and spacious and bed comfy. Would certainly stay again lovely staff couldn't do enough for us .Will Definitely be back again xx

Rooms not ready at stayed time and a queue formed at reception. Nice stay but a few wee niggles with room. Faulty shower, no internet connection and light in bathroom could not be switched off. New owners took over mid stay and a big tidy up and maintenance underway, hopefully these issues will be resolved quickly. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Stunning sea view from room. Would stay again.

After reading some of the reviews we were in two minds to go on our stay at this hotel but we are glad we did. The staff were lovely and very attentive, food was good. Drinks expensive compared to some of the surrounding pubs but that’s to be expected. The room was a bit disappointing for a deluxe, a bit tired in places and curtains were stained. View amazing. Would return if there were special offers available.

Had a great two days at this hotel Great sea view rooms. Our room (207) was lovely and clean. Toilet had a walk in shower and the towels were lovely and soft. Food was good and the staff were first class. Couldn't do enough for you. Will definitely book again!
