Standard of accommodation well worth its 4 star rating. Immaculate rooms. Excellent food. Well situated along the canal for great walks. Staff very attentive.

This hotel merits a return visit. Only complaint was such a small choice on the dinner menu. Hotel obviously encourages it's bar meals more. Waste of well appointed dinning room.

only stayed 2 nights,however I found the staff at the moorings hotel to be very friendly and most helpful.The service and food was 1st class and I would not hesitate to go back again.

Our stay at the Moorings Hotel was excellent.The staff were pleasant,very helpful even showing us to our room which doesn't happen very often.The room was spotless and the food was first class. Couldn't praise the hotel more. I would certainly go back.

Staff could not do enough for you. Also looked after frail non resident who was viewing canal and needed toilet but was not going to spend money as was part of bus tour. Bill

We stayed a total of 3 nights at the Moorings using 2 separate Classic Britain deals for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We had a wonderful holiday using the hotel as a base for touring about the area and enjoying some long walks. The hotel is in a fantastic location beside the Devils Staircase and we had a spectacular view of nearby Ben Nevis from our very comfortable room. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. We look forward to visiting again in the future. Would definitely recommend.

Had a fabulous three day stay. Everything just so and the staff were very , very helpful at all times . No request was too much bother . Will definitely be staying again and will recommend to friends and family.

The hotel is very nice and the room we had was oustanding quality. Bathroom and decor impeccable. Unfortunately for us we had go cut short our stay as my mother had been taken very poorly. The hotel staff could not have been nicer and I could not fault anything.

Hotel room very comfortable but strong smell from apparant blockage to drain.Food good quality but dining room dark and dreach and in need of modernisation.

A very well appointed hotel with excellent service and very pleasant and helpful staff. The food was excellent and plentiful. the location of the hotel,adjacent to the "Neptunes Staircase" is an added feature, which made the stay all the more interesting when watching the boats navigate the locks from your bedroom window. Ideally situated with many pleasant walks right on your doorstep. Very satisfied.

ALL THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY, ESPECIALLY THE YOUNG GIRL AMY IN RECEPTION. WE REALLY ENJOYED THE FOOD AND ALTHOUGH OUR STAY WAS FOR 2 NIGHTS WE WOULD HAPPILY HAVE STAYED FOR LONGER BUT THE HOTEL WAS FULLY BOOKED.

Out of town,not really Fort William,advert a wee bit mis-leading. Location next to canal is excellent,staff were great,even given a free drink after minor misunderstanding at breakfast one morning.Hote/food excellent.

We were a party of four and had a great time at The Moorings. The staff are very friendly and we enjoyed the food enormously. We were put in superior rooms which was a nice treat, bathrobes and slippers.
